You grab a cotton ball as you pull out your disinfectant as well as your first aid kit.

"I'm surprised you stopped bleeding really quickly." You said as you got closer to him.

"Comes with being a superhero, quicker healing. Can't always be bleeding out on the job you know." He smiles.

"I suppose." You said as you dab the cotton ball with the disinfectant. "Okay, the bleeding may have stopped, but I still need to clean up your wound. This may sting a little." You said.

"Y/n I think I can handle a little– ahhhh f-ck f-ck okay!" He screamed as you put the cotton ball on his bicep and began cleaning up his would.

"Yeah, you were sure able to handle that." You smiled, trying to hold back your laughter as you saw him continue to wince a little.

You soon were able to carefully give him the stitches that he needed. Once you were done, he carefully reflected his arm and moved it around a little.

"I don't know much about superheroes but it'll probably take like a week or two for it to heal." You said as you put away all your supplies in your first aid kit.

"Well thank you Y/n. I appreciate the help." He says, turning over to you with a bright smile. For some reason, you felt a sense of familiarity from it but brushed it off.

"Ahh thanks... D-man." You said, still unsure about the whole thing. "Umm can I ask you a question?"

"Normally I don't give out autographs–"

"What? No, that's not what I was gonna ask."

"Oh? Then what is it?" He asks as he turns his whole body to face yours.

"Why did you come here of all places?" You asked.

He didn't say anything for a while and you couldn't really analyze his expression through the mask either. "I don't know really. Probably instinct, I just had a feeling I knew I could get the right help here." He turns to his arm. "And I was right."

You nod your head mindlessly. You wanted to say something, but then stopped as he got up and walked to your window with one leg on top, ready to climb up.

Before he went, he turned to you with a sly smile. "Take care. See you again one day." And with that he just jumped out and left with a blink of an eye.

You stood frozen, still not processing what just happened.

"Weird."

Little did you know that wouldn't be the last time you would see D-man.

Every once in a while a crime would happen nearby and he would come to you just like before. Sometimes, they wouldn't even be at an appropriate hour so there were times where he would knock on your bedroom window at three in the morning in need of a quick wrap.

Of course, you tended to all his wounds. You couldn't have it on your conscience that you didn't help out a superhero especially since crimes were increasing near your area, you couldn't help but feel tensed every time he showed up.

That's how it was for a while. Despite everything, you didn't know D-man. He would come in for quick help before disappearing so you never got any answers to your questions. You would spend the night not being able to sleep as you wondered why he would always come to you or what made you so special.

It was one of the reasons why you would be barely awake right now as you looked through the shelves of the library to find a book you needed in your psychology class. The bags underneath your eyes were so bad, you had to hide it as much as possible with concealer so Jimin wouldn't question it.

As much as you tell Jimin everything, even you didn't think he was ready to hear that you tend to the D-man's wounds.

"The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat." A voice says right next to you, causing you to shake out of it.

"Huh?" You said, quickly turning to the man whose face was right next to you. "Woah. How out of it was I?" You mumbled to yourself.

The beautiful stranger chuckled as he grabbed a book from the shelf and extended it out to you.

Not knowing what to do, you blink as you look at the man eyeing you to take the book. You grabbed the book from his hand.

"It'll be a good book for your psychology project, Y/n." The man said.

"How'd you know about that?" You asked, slightly scared. "I'm sorry do I... Know you?" You asked.

"Sorry. I'm in your class, I just sit in the back." He scratches the back of his head before extending it out to you in a handshake. "I'm Jin." He says.

You hesitantly take it before, shaking his hand. "Well nice to meet you Jin." You smile. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to sound rude or anything."

"Not at all. I probably should've introduced myself better without sounding like a creep." You laugh.

"It's totally fine." You said, soon yawning afterwards.

"You okay?" He asked.

You instantly cover your mouth. "Sorry." You blurt out. "Guess I didn't really get a good amount of sleep last night."

"Up late studying?"

"Something like that."

"Well take care of yourself Y/n. You wouldn't want anything to disrupt your cognitive function. I don't think Professor Woo would like that."

You chuckle. "Funny. But no you're right." You said, swaying slightly as you felt a little drowsy.

"You're cute Y/n." He said, without thinking.

"I'm aware." You instantly snapped out of your sleepiness when you said that.

Wow, I spend too much time with Jimin. You thought.

Jin laughed. "You're funny too."

You look at him. Now fully aware that you've been conversing with an extremely attractive man and haven't once thought about what you were saying.

You felt slightly nervous and embarrassed, biting back your tongue to prevent yourself from saying anything stupid. You look back up at him.

"Well thank you. You too?" You said, which sounded more like a question.

Jin was going to say something until his phone beeped. He looked down before typing away. He looked back up at you with a smile. "I have to go, you should really use that book for your project. It'll be good."

You look at the book in your hand as your fingers go over the cover. You smiled as you looked at him and nodded. "Maybe I will."

"That's great. Well see you later Y/n." He said, before waving goodbye and walking away.

"You too." You softly say a bit late as he already left.

You looked at the book again in your hands and turned to his direction. You didn't feel sleepy anymore as you felt a slight heat on your cheeks.
