Chapter 29

Penelope POV

I love Egypt! Just from the attack helicopter, it's all sandy and cool! I saw a couple of pyramids on the way here, and they were so awesome! I wanna live in one, maybe one day. Emily lands us right next to the royal palace, and we file out with our guns. I don't really like shooting people, it must be painful for everyone on the receiving end.

We approach the pharaoh, whos' just standing out in the open to meet us.

"LISTEN BUB!" Serena wails at the pharaoh-dude whos' coming towards us, looking slightly puzzled by our presence, "IF YOU DON'T LET EMBER RULE EGYPT, AND GIVE ME 78 BOTTLES OF VODKA STAT - I WILL MURDER ALL OF YOU!"

"NEVER!" The pharaoh boomed back, his Egyptian army standing behind him with bows and swords. They look really cool, I really want to have a bow or a sword one day. Guns are kind of... plain.

"ATTACK!" Emily shrieked.

We all fired off our beautiful guns while BTS sang Dynamite and threw dynamite. It was really boring, because it turns out that bows and swords aren't really good weapons. They're very slow and ineffective, I should probably give them guns to make this a fair fight, but Emily would get mad at me if I did. Plus, the view of blood is seriously just getting boring to me now. It's like, why would you shoot someone when you could do something else?

"This is so boring," Beverly complained, "it's not that I don't like shooting people... It's just that, we've been doing it too often, it's getting boring."

"I agree," Emily chimed in. "Wait, I think I have a sword somewhere, lemme just get it."

Emily rifles in her pockets for a second, then pulls out this huge sword. Then she charges towards the Egyptian army and starts slicing them all in half.

"WOAH, GUYS YOU'VE GOT TO TRY THIS!" Emily sang, "THIS IS ACTUALLY REALLY COOL!"

"We don't have swords," Serena groaned. "Also, where's my vodka?"

"WE SURRENDER!" The Pharaoh shrieked, "PLEASE, LET US LIVE!"

Ember cleared her throat. "I will let you all live, but you must all be my slaves."

They all bow quickly, then leave. Ember disappears into the attack helicopter for a while, and then brings out a stack of wicker baskets. She opens them and cats pour out. She goes in to go get more while the cats she's already released immediately start roaming around the city. Tae protectively hugs his dog as the cats continue to take over Egypt.

"Woah Emily," Ember said, "where did you even learn to use a sword like that. Don't say Fortnite."

"But I did!" Emily whined, "that was how I learnt how to use a sword!"

"I thought Fortnite didn't have swords!?"

"They had an update."

"Can I ask you something?" Junk (or Jungkook, but I got used to calling him Junk) says. "Um Emily, you're fighting skills were really cool."

"I know they were," Emily said smugly, "what about them?"

Junk gets down on one knee, and pulls out a ring. "Will you uh... marry me?"

"OMG!" I squeal, "THIS IS SO COOL!"

"Shut up!" Serena snapped, "I still don't know where the vodka is."

"Junk um... You're seriously proposing to me, right now!?" Emily exclaimed.

"Oh, sorry..."

"No I mean, I accept. I just found it weird for you to propose when Ember and Tae are literally fighting each other right at this moment, but yes, I will be your wife."

Junk slides the ring onto Emily's outstretched finger, but don't get to do anything cute because Ember's cats tried to bite off Tae's dog. Tae cuddles his dog protectively while Ember ushers on the cats to attack.

"You can't just outlaw dogs!" Tae fought.

"I can, and I will! No one likes dogs!"

"I do," Jimin piped in. Serena nodded her head, in agreement.

"All those who love dogs more than cats?" Tae asks.

Everyone except Ember raises their hands. I like dogs and cats, but once a cat tried to bite me which wasn't really nice, so I prefer dogs. They're always happy, just like me!

"Fine," Ember grunts, "you can have that island in the middle of the Nile for your dogs."

"That's so small-"

"Too bad," Ember spat. Tae frowned, and took a little boat with his dog over to the lonely island in the Nile, and sat there for hours, contemplating on what he had gotten himself into.
