Chapter 3

Emily POV

7 men with ugly bright hair run down the pathway from the apartment complex towards us. They're all panicked and concerned about the attack helicopter in front of us, laid in ruins while Serena hobbles around, puking out all the vodka she had ingested earlier. Ember and I slid open the doors, and we jumped out of the ruined attack helicopter. Beverly was scrambling around on the grass, looking for her machine gun.

"What if they're soldiers from North Korea?" Beverly shrieks in fear. "I think I lost my gun when Emily crashed the helicopter!"

"Not my fault!" I fought back, crossing my arms. "Ember was the one who told me to go down!"

"I didn't mean so immediately!" Ember cut in.

One of the men at the front of the group took a step towards us, looking at us with concern. "Are you guys okay?"

"AHHHHHHHHH!" I scream, punching my fist into his stomach and holding him down. "HE'S KNOCKED! ATTACK MY FRIENDS!"

The rest of my team knock out the remaining six men, and they are all passed out on the ground. Serena jumps up high and knocks out 3 of them in one blow, while Beverly punches one of them repeatedly. Ember does a high kick, and Penelope stands back in fear, her knees shaking violently as she struggles to stay standing.

"Everyone, carry them to the basement!" I ordered, "We'll interrogate them there!"

We took them all up on their shoulders, striding away towards the apartment complex. I took up the dude that I had knocked, since it only felt fair. I carried him on my back, and we all took slow steps towards the building. Serene carried three men on her back, channeling all her rage into each step she took.

"What if someone sees us?" Penelope quivered, struggling under the weight of the man she was carrying.

"We'll just say that they're our um." Ember though. "Boyfriends?"

"No," Serena cut in. "I am not dating any of them."

"I would," Beverly dreamily sighed, "look at how handsome they all are!" She poked around the red headed dude hanging down on her shoulders, smiling brightly with each second passing. Serena groaned inwardly, and stuck out a look of disgust.

"Let's just carry them into the basement." Ember suggested, "forget I said anything."

"How can I forget it?" Beverly asked in confusion, "I can't just let my mind erase a memory willingly-"

"It's an expression you dumb fuck," Serena cut in.

"That's not nice," I point out.

"Neither is your face, but we don't talk about that."

Serena and I are destined to be best friends. The day I met her, I knew that we were definitely going to be friends forever. Serena constantly insults me and swears, but I know that this is just her coping strategy for her overflowing likeliness for me.

We dump the men harshly on the floor, and let them lay there for a couple of hours. These guys are such babies, if it was me, just like in a fortnite game; I'd be up already and shooting other players. The fact that these grown men can't even take a little punch in the stomach is honestly just surprising to me.

Finally, the man with red hair twitches awake. He rubs his eyes for a moment, then holds his chest in pain. Finally, he slowly opens his eyes, and Beverly is practically jumping up and down.

"What did you do? Where are we?" He yelled in fear, frantically looking around.

"You're in a basement," Serena curtly replied. "We basically kidnapped you, and now we're keeping you hostage."
