Professor Slughorn stood in front of the class. "Alright, class. Today we will be brewing Amortenia. Can anyone tell me what Amortenia is?" Someone's hand shot up but Draco wasn't paying attention. He was too busy watching Magnolia. She was leaning forward on her elbow, a hand on her bump.

Draco hated that bump. It seemed to be the cause of all his problems lately. He scoffed. Well not all of them, but a lot. The biggest one being the reason him and Magnolia hadn't gotten back together. Sure he had broken up with her but he knew that wouldn't have last long. In fact Draco had planned on crawling back to her in September, until he learned she was pregnant with someone else's baby then all his plans had changed.

He knew that him and Magnolia would never hold that special bond. Draco wanted it to be his baby in there. He loved Magnolia, still. She had been the only light in his life for almost two years and Draco couldn't help but wonder how different things would be if it was his.

"Can I get a little help here?" Blaise asked, snapping Draco out of his trance. Draco looked over at him and Blaise sighed, seeing the look in his eyes. "You can't mope over her, mate. There's plenty of owls in the sky, you just have to find the right one for you. Someone better than Potter." Draco shook his head.

"I feel bad, Blaise. I didn't mean that thing I said and now she's not even going to talk to me plus we're partners in that stupid project in health." Blaise sighed. "Well, I need help so we don't fail this potion. Don't you want to know what it smells like?" Draco glared at Blaise. "Not really, no." Blaise sighed. "Just grab those leaves and put them in the cauldron."

Draco sighed and grabbed the leaves. He threw them into the cauldron. "Gentle! Gentle!" Draco rolled his eyes. "It's leaves, Blaise. It's a bunch of leaves. They can't feel it if I throw them in or it I placed them in gently." Blaise rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever."

The potion was finished and Draco looked down at it. "What do you smell?" He asked Blaise. Blaise shrugged. "Hmmm, Books and lemons." Draco raised his brow. "Books and Lemons?" He asked in disbelief. Blaise nodded. "Yep. Books are calming. Now what about you?"

Draco looked down at the potion and inhaled. "Chocolate frogs, the quidditch pitch, and...." Draco looked up at Magnolia. He smirked. "Pumpkin." Blaise scoffed. "You're a love sick, puppy. Yo know that?" Draco shrugged. "So what?"

Draco rolled his eyes while grinning, remembering the moment he had shared with Magnolia.

"You know for someone who hates pumpkin, you sure do smell like pumpkin." Draco whispered, as he looked up from the book in front of him. Magnolia rolled her eyes. "It's the only shampoo I could find at Hogsmeade." Draco chuckled.

"Have you even tried anything pumpkin?" Magnolia nodded. "Pumpkin pasties on the train and they were disgusting." Draco sighed. "Well that's your problem. You haven't had it made by the right person." Magnolia raised her brow. "Excuse me?" Draco sighed. "The trains pumpkin pasties are disgusting. You just need to eat them made by the right person."

Magnolia nodded. "Next you're going to tell me that you're the right person." Draco shrugged. "I have made them with my mother a couple of times." Magnolia's jaw dropped. "You? A baker? As if." Draco nodded. "It's true. I dabble in baking anything with pumpkin in it." Magnolia shrugged. "I'll be the judge of that."

Draco nodded and shut his book. He stood up and Magnolia looked up at him. "What are you doing?" Magnolia asked. Draco packed his stuff up. "I'll be in the kitchen, if you'd like to join me." Draco slung his bag over his shoulder and walked out.

Magnolia had bit her lip. She wasn't sure if she should or not. She started to nervously chew on it, knowing if anyone caught them they were dead but Magnolia was curious. She couldn't picture Draco as the baking type.

Magnolia looked towards the library entrance, seeing Draco had disappeared. Magnolia tilted her head. "Curiosity killed the cat," She whispered but something in the back of her mind fought that. 'But satisfaction brought it back' She thought. Magnolia shut the book and stood up.

She walked down to the kitchen were she saw Draco standing in front of the counter, while the house elves worked away. Draco had the sleeves of his shirt rolled up, showing off his forearms. He had an apron tied to him while he was working with some sort of dough.

Magnolia walked over and leaned against the counter. "Doesn't dough have to sit for two hours?" Draco looked over at her. He nodded. "Mhmm. I already planned on making some today though," Magnolia grinned and Draco squeezed his eyes shut and nodded. "I'm never going to live this down, am I?" Magnolia shook her head. "Never."  Draco continued working the dough.

Magnolia sat watching in awe as he continued baking. She had never been much of a baker. Of course she had wanted to bake when she was younger, always hovering around her aunt when she baked everything but that usually ended in horror and maybe a few burns.

Magnolia's eyes fell on the floor as Draco filled the pastries with pumpkin filling. "Is everything alright, Mags?" Magnolia looked up at him and nodded. "Mhmm. Just reminiscing." Draco nodded and turned back to the baking.

Draco and Magnolia had gotten lost in conversation as Draco continued baking. He placed the tray into the oven and turned to her. "No one can know about this?" Magnolia placed her hand over her heart. "I don't anyone would believe me." Draco glared at her. "You know having hobbies is a thing, right?" Magnolia nodded. "Yes but I figured your only hobbies were wallowing in self pity and complaining to you father." Draco rolled his eyes while smiling. "Hahaha, very funny." Magnolia shrugged. "I take pride in that."

Magnolia was sitting on the counter when the timer went off. Draco grinned and pulled the tray out. "Are you ready to taste heaven?" Magnolia shrugged. "I'm ready to be disappointed." Draco scoffed. "How dare you think so little of me." He said jokingly. Draco set the tray on top of the oven.

Magnolia went to pick one up. "Whoa, it's hot. Let it cool." Magnolia looked over at Draco. "I fear nothing. Just like how I expect this to give me food poisoning. I fear nothing." That was a lie but Draco just chuckled. "Alright go ahead. Burn your mouth. See if I care."

Magnolia beamed at him and grabbed one of the pasties. "Oooo, Hot!" Draco nodded. "I told you." Magnolia playfully rolled her eyes and bit into it. She tried to hold back the small moan but it slipped out of her mouth.

Draco grinned and nodded. "Glad to see that I can make you moan in more than one way." Magnolia glared at him. "You were doing so well." Draco grinned. "It's good isn't it?" Magnolia bit her lip and nodded. "I would have disagreed but it too late. It is very good."

Draco grinned at the memory. It had been their first actual moment together, other then all the sexual conquests they had shared.

Professor Slughorn looked around the room. "Any one care to share what they smell for bonus house points?" Magnolia's hand shot up. She was always looking for extra house points to beat Harry. At the end of the year the two had added up the points they had earned for their house, deducting the points they had lost, and the winner had to buy the loser ice cream.

Magnolia should have smelled the potion before volunteering. "Miss Potter." Magnolia leaned forward and inhaled deeply. She looked up. Magnolia took a deep breath. 'do it for the ice cream, do it for the ice cream' She thought to herself.

"Green apples, cologne," Magnolia knew the specific name but she left that out. Her mouth started to water as she thought of the next smell. "And pumpkin." Draco's head popped up and Blaise sighed. "That doesn't mean anything." He whispered. Draco looked over at Blaise and nodded. "It could though. It very well could."

Magnolia had suddenly craved pumpkin pasties, but not just any pumpkin pasties, Draco's pumpkin pasties. Magnolia turned around and made eye contact with Draco. He gave her a small smile.

"Very good, Miss Potter. Ten points to Ravenclaw." Magnolia forced herself to look away from Draco and her eyes fell on the desk. Draco sighed. He knew he needed to apologize for earlier but he had no idea how.
