The twins and Magnolia walked into the flat above Weasley Wizard Wheezes. "Alright, now what's the truth?" George asked. Fred turned to him. "What truth?" George rolled his eyes. "You two were obviously lying back at the burrow now what's the truth?" Fred sighed. "Magnolia, tell him the truth is that I-""He's not the father. Your brother is a dumb ass and I appreciate his effort but now your mum and dad think they're going to be grandparents." George turned to Fred. "Really, Freddie?" Fred threw his hands up. "She left out the other part. Tell him the rest."
Magnolia shook her head, getting annoyed. "Draco Malfoy is the father and we are no longer together so I'm in a pickle." She shrugged. George scoffed. "You're in more than a pickle. I'd call this a conundrum." Magnolia sighed and plopped down on the couch. "I just would rather we not talk about this at the moment. Have anything to distract me?" Fred nodded. "You can help us with the store." Magnolia stood back up. "Yes. Let's do that. Where do you need me?"
George walked over to the table. "Can you handle the prices? I feel that's what you'd be best at?" Magnolia nodded. "Yes. I'll do that then make a doctor's appointment." The boys shared a look. "So how far along are you exactly?" Fred asked. Magnolia shrugged. "Two months maybe. I don't know. I'm not good with this stuff." George nodded. "Obviously not. If you were, you wouldn't be pregnant." Magnolia glared at him as she picked up a journal from the table.
"I will make your prices terrible if you don't shut up." George sighed. "Alright, sorry. Better?" Magnolia nodded. "Much. Now I'm going to need a list of your inventory." Fred nodded. "Alright, well if you go right downstairs, our list is down there." Magnolia sighed. "You don't have an inventory list?" The boys shared a looked. "Should we?" Magnolia nodded. "Yeah but that's fine. I guess I'll handle that too," Magnolia flipped through the journal. "What else do you guys not have?" Fred tilted his head. "Employees. Speaking of would you like to work here for the rest of the summer?" Magnolia chuckled. "You two are pathetic. What would you do without me?" Fred shrugged. "Don't know. We'd probably still do the same thing." George nodded. "Only our business would open slower."
Magnolia shook her head slowly. "I'm going to make your prices and take inventory." Magnolia walked downstairs and George turned to Fred. "Malfoy? Really?" Fred nodded. "Apparently they've been together since Halloween." George's brows furrowed. "Then why doesn't he take responsibility?" Fred sighed. "Because they're not together anymore." George walked over to the fridge. He yanked it open but saw it was empty. "Why?" Fred shrugged. "Don't know, mate. I don't think she knows either."
Magnolia was scribbling things down when she heard a knock on the door. "We're not open!"She shouted. There was another knock and Magnolia sighed. She looked up and smiled when she saw Remus standing outside. Magnolia rushed over to the glass door and unlocked it. She pushed the door open and Remus stepped in. "Mag," He pulled her into a hug and Magnolia hugged him tightly. Remus froze and pulled away. "Why do you have two heartbeats?" Magnolia bit her lip.
"How's Sirius? I hope he's doing better after the incident." Magnolia rambled. "Magnolia, answer the question," Magnolia looked down, tears brimming her eyes. "Are you pregnant?" Magnolia looked back up. "I'm so sorry, Remus. I-" Remus pulled her into a hug and Magnolia burst into tears. He smooth her hair down. "It's alright. Shush, shush. It will be fine." Magnolia let out a sob. "Mum and Dad would be so disappointed." She whispered. Remus shook his head. "No they wouldn't, Mag. They wouldn't." Magnolia pulled away and wiped her eyes.
"What happened?" Remus asked. Magnolia sighed. "No one knows I exist. Whenever they see me with Harry, they don't think he has a sister. I'm just another student or girl. Do you have any idea what it's like being related to him?" Remus just shook his head. "Harry gets everything handed to him on a silver platter. The only adult that shows me attention is Snape and that's just," Magnolia shivered. "It's because he's obsessed with me or something. So someone finally showed me at-""Please tell me it isn't Snape's." Magnolia shook her head. "Ew! No! Never in a million years. I was talking about Malfoy." Remus froze. "Malfoy? Draco Malfoy?" Magnolia sighed. "Yes. Someone my age." Remus sighed. "Well thank god. I don't know what I'd do if it was Lucius." Magnolia glared at him and Remus smiled.
"You look a lot like your mother." Magnolia nodded. "So I've heard." Magnolia looked down at the notebook. "How much do you think love potions should sell for?" Remus raised his brow. "Why?" Magnolia walked over to a shelf. "I'm helping the twins, now how much?" Remus shrugged. "Three galleons?" Magnolia nodded. "Hmm, seems reasonable."
Remus walked over to her as she scanned the shelf. "So how are you going to tell Draco?" Magnolia shook her head. "I'm not." She looked down at the journal and scribbled something. Remus froze. "What?" Magnolia looked up at him. "I'm not telling him. I thought that was obvious." Remus sighed. "Mag, he's the father he deserves to know." Magnolia shook her head. "Well according to Fred, Fred's the father, so Fred's the father now." Remus gave her a stern look as Magnolia turned and walked over to a bin full of dungbombs. "Magnolia." He warned. Magnolia grinned. "Remus," She spoke in the same tone.
Magnolia scribbled something else down. "It's not that I don't want to tell him. It's the fact that I know how he's going to react." Remus shrugged. "You can't be sure of that." Magnolia chuckled. "You don't know Draco like I do." Remus shook his head. "Ma-""It's my decision and it's been made. Now if anyone asks Fred's the father."
"Ah, so you've come to terms with my offer?" Magnolia and Remus looked up to see Fred and Magnolia nodded. "Yeah, still not happy with it but it's better than nothing." Fred smiled. "Remus." He waved and Remus glared at him. "Is your mother okay with this idea?" Fred nodded. "Yeah. She's happy she's having a grandchild." Remus looked between Fred and Magnolia. "You mean she thinks you're the father?" Fred nodded. "Yep." Remus shook his head. "You guys are unbelievable. This is going to blow up in your faces." Magnolia shrugged. "Hmm, It won't be that bad." Remus nodded. "Yes, It will be. See I figured I'll just ignore this like I ignore my trauma." Remus pinched the bridge of his nose.
"No, Magnolia. Th-," He sighed. "That won't work especially with this." Magnolia nodded. "Oh uh yeah I suppose you're right but uh I'm still ignoring the fact that Draco is the father." Remus crossed his arms over his chest. "Fine whatever. You're stubborn just like your father." Magnolia looked over at Remus. "That's a new one. I haven't heard that before."
Remus chuckled. "He was like stubborn stubborn but uh he asked your mother out every year until she said yes." Magnolia tilted her head. "That's sort of harassment." Fred shook his head. "No, it's romantic. He loved her." Magnolia sighed. "Okay they did love each other obviously or else I wouldn't be here but that wasn't being stubborn. That was harassment." Magnolia walked over to the cash register. Fred and Remus shared a looked.
Fred shook his head and placed a hand on his hip while flailing his other hand. "Hold on, hold on, hold on. That's harassment?" Magnolia nodded. "Mhmm." Fred rubbed his forehead. "I don't understand." Magnolia sighed. "Of course you don't. You're guys." Remus nodded. "No, I understand perfectly fine. He doesn't understand." Magnolia tilted her head. "Yeah now that I think about it you were probably harassed by Sirius." Remus nodded. "Yeah, no kidding. So like what's up with this?" He moved his hand in a circle.
"Well, I'm doing this for them and then making a doctors appointment and since I can't ignore this, I guess I'll take it step by step." Fred held a finger up. "We." Magnolia glared at him. "I was just warming up to your idea. Shhh." Magnolia laid the journal on the counter and shut it. "Okay, this is done. You and George can go through it and change anything you like. I'm going to go make a call."
Magnolia wiped her hands on her jeans and walked upstairs. Remus turned to Fred. "Will you look after her?" Fred nodded. "Yeah. I got her." Remus nodded. "Thank you. I would but uh with the order and Harry, my hands are full." Fred nodded. "Yeah, I understand. I got her."
