Magnolia laid on the bed in the hospital wing as Madam Pomfrey rushed over. "Is this really happening?" Magnolia nodded as she threw her head back, squeezing her eyes shut along with Draco's hand. Draco nodded. "Her water broke. Harry and Ron went to tell the twins and they're rounding everything up while Hermione's getting ice and some things from out room."

Madam Pomfrey smiled and nodded. "Alright Magnolia are you ready?" Magnolia shook her head, frantically. "Merlin no." Draco looked over at her. "Hey, you got this. We got this." Magnolia narrowed her eyes at Draco. "We aren't pushing a baby out of our vagina. I am the one doing the pushing." Draco nodded. "You are and it's amazing and I couldn't thank you more." Magnolia wanted to sink into the bed. "I want the basket you brought me earlier." Draco smiled and cupped Magnolia's cheek. He rubbed it with his thumb. "I figured that's why I sent Hermione to get that too." Magnolia smiled. "Good."

Remus and Sirius stood next to Magnolia while the other teens were at lunch. It had taken some protesting from Draco but Magnolia forced him to go, telling him he wouldn't miss anything. Magnolia looked up at Remus as she chewed on some ice. "I hate this," She whispered. "It's taking too long I just want her out." Remus chuckled. "She'll be here soon, Mags." Remus reassured her.

Sirius rubbed his hands together. "I can't wait to meet Bambi jr." Magnolia sighed. "You need better nicknames, Dogfather." Sirius chuckled. "How's Dragonette?" Magnolia shook her head. "I told you what the female version of a Dragon is called." Sirius chuckled and laid his hand on the top of the bed. "I'm sorry, doe."

Magnolia sat up straighter as a contraction came. "Owe, owe, owe!" Sirius' eyes widened. "Quick, Remus go get Molly. Here hold my hand, Evans." Magnolia grabbed Sirius' hand and squeezed tightly as Remus hurried out of the room. Magnolia shook her head. "I can't do it." Magnolia whispered. Sirius nodded. "Yes you can. You're strong, Bambi, and you can do it. I believe in you and Remus believes in you and so does Draco," He whispered. "Your parents would be so proud of you, Noly." Magnolia looked up at Sirius.

"You think so?" Sirius nodded. "I know so." Magnolia nodded and the doors opened. Draco walked in followed by Blaise, Remus, and Molly. "She's still in there right? I didn't miss anything?" Magnolia shook her head. "Other than contractions nope." Draco sighed. "I'm sorry, love." Magnolia shook her head. "It's fine. I'm doing this for her." Draco smiled as he leaned down and kissed Magnolia's forehead. "And you're doing a great job." He whispered in-between kisses. Draco pulled away and smoothed Magnolia's hair down.

"I swear if she comes out to back mouth us after I carried her for nine months." Draco chuckled. "I don't think that'll happen." Blaise shrugged. "It could though." Magnolia glared at Blaise. "Shut up, Blaise!" Magnolia and Draco said in unison. Blaise threw his hands up and stepped back.

Madam Pomfrey walked over. "Alright, everyone out but the father." Magnolia sat up. "It's time?" Magnolia asked. Madam Pomfrey nodded. "Maybe. We just have to see how dilated you are." Everyone walked out and Madam Pomfrey pulled the curtain around Magnolia's bed. "Alright, knees up, put your ankles together, and drop your knees." Magnolia listen to Madam Pomfrey's instructions and Madam Pomfrey lifted the sheet.

She looked up at Magnolia. "Guess what." She whispered. Magnolia and Draco beamed. "It's time?" They asked together. Madam Pomfrey smiled and nodded. She pulled her wand out and waved it, causing two stirrups to appear. Magnolia moved her leg onto them and took a deep breath. "Alright, Miss Potter, next contraction I need you to push." Magnolia nodded as her chest filled with fear.

She looked up at Draco. "She'll be here soon, love. Don't worry. You do this part and the rest we do together."

Harry stood outside with everyone else, pacing. To say he was worried would be an understatement. Hermione sighed. "Sit down, harry. She'll be fine." Harry looked down at her. "Not everyone makes it through delivery, Mione. She's all I have. She's the only family I got." Hermione nodded. "And she'll be fine. Now sit down." Harry sighed and sat down. His knee bouncing as he did.

Magnolia heard a cry fill the room and she felt a relief of pressure. Magnolia looked up as Madam Pomfrey laid the screaming baby on her chest and Magnolia's heard melted. She looked up at Draco to see him crying. "Are you crying?" She asked, in disbelief. Draco nodded. "Yes. She's beautiful." Magnolia smiled and looked down at the squirming baby on her chest. "She is." She whispered as her vision clouded.

Magnolia grabbed her tiny hand and her smile grew. "Hi, bean," She whispered. Madam Pomfrey smiled. "Alright, let's get her cleaned up and the cord snipped." Madam Pomfrey picked the baby up and wiped her off with a towel. She conjured a pair of scissors and handed them to Draco. "Would you like to do the honors?" Madam Pomfrey asked. Draco nodded and leaned forward cutting the cord.

Madam Pomfrey swaddled the baby in a blanket and handed her back to Magnolia. Magnolia brushed her finger against her cheek. "She doesn't look like an Adelaide." Magnolia whispered. Draco shook his head. "No. She doesn't," He thought for a minute. "She's our strength. Valentina." He barely whispered. Magnolia looked up at him and nodded. "I like it. Valentina Lily Malfoy." Magnolia whispered.

Draco reached over and pecked Magnolia's lips. "She's perfect." He whispered as he pulled away. Magnolia nodded. "She got your nose and ears." Draco smiled. "She got your hair." He whispered, pointing out the tufts of copper hair. Magnolia shrugged. "I hope she has your eyes then." Draco smirked. "I wouldn't complain if she had yours." Magnolia nodded. "Yes you would." Draco chuckled. "No matter what color her eyes are, she's perfect."
