Magnolia groaned as the screaming one month old woke her up. Magnolia looked over at Draco. "It's your turn." She whispered. Draco groaned as he forced his eyes open. "I got her last night." He mumbled. Magnolia nodded and rolled over. "And I gave birth to her." Draco sighed and pushed himself up, yawning. "I'll be back." He mumbled.
Draco pushed the door to the nursery open and walked over to the crib to see Valentina squirming and screaming. Draco smiled down at her. "Good morning, bug." Draco picked her up and slightly bounced her. "What's wrong? Do you need a nappy change?" Draco patted her butt but found it dry. He sighed and walked into the main room. "Alright, so we're hungry then."
Magnolia rolled over as she heard the door shut. Draco sighed. "She's hungry." Magnolia sat up. "There should be some milk in the fridge." They had put a little fridge in the dorm to store Magnolia's pumped milk. Draco walked over and pulled it open. He grabbed one of the bottles from the fridge and pulled the cap off. He went to give it to Valentina. "Wait no!" Magnolia shouted. Draco pulled the bottle away.
"Let's see if she'll latch today." Draco chuckled and nodded. "Alright, love. You sure you want to try it today?" Magnolia nodded. "Yes. I'll hold her and you stuff my boob into her mouth." Draco laughed as he walked over. "Sounds like a plan."
Magnolia held her arms out for Valentina and Draco placed her in her arms. "Alright I'm gonna pull it out and when she opened her mouth just stuff it in." Draco nodded got it.
Blaise pushed the door open to see Draco with his hands on Magnolia's boob as it was in Valentina's mouth. Blaise tilted his head. "Wh-what did it I walk in on?" Draco looked up. "We're trying to get her to latch." He stated. Magnolia nodded. "Yeah, mind your business, Bini." Blaise shook his head. "I feel so bad for this child."
Draco pulled his hands away. "Ugh, she's fine." Magnolia's face lit up. "Oh my god! Draco, she latched!" Draco spun around. "She latched?" Magnolia nodded. "She latched!"Blaise tilted his head. "So what does this mean?" Draco thought for a minute. "Well she's going to fully breast feed now obviously anyways why'd you come here Blaise?"
Blaise sighed. "I can't come to see my niece?" Magnolia shook her head. "Not at seven in the morning that's weird." Blaise nodded. "I suppose so," He walked towards Draco and handed him the small box without Magnolia noticing. "I just came to see if you two were awake. You two have been sleeping in and missing some classes." Magnolia nodded. "That's because we have an infant."
Draco stuffed the box into his pocket, hoping Magnolia hadn't noticed. Blaise nodded. "An Infant that you can take to class." Magnolia glared at him. "You try dealing with the looks when she starts crying in the middle of class." Blaise crossed his arms over his chest. "It can't be that bad." Draco looked up. His eyes widened in fear for Blaise. Magnolia shifted Valentina. "Oh really?" Blaise nodded. "I think I could do it." Magnolia nodded. "Alright, you can watch Val for an entire day, during the week." Blaise nodded. "Challenge accepted."
Draco chuckled. "Can I have my family back now?" Blaise looked up at him. "Right, yeah. Sorry. Tomorrow, Val's mine though also don't be late to classes." Draco nodded. "Will do, Blaise." Blaise nodded and walked out.
Draco walked back over to the bed and sat down across from Magnolia. His hand went into his pocket and he fumbled with the box. Magnolia had a giant grin on her face. "I can't believe she finally latched." Magnolia whispered. Draco let out a small laugh. "Me either," He looked back up at Magnolia, his smile growing.
"Mags, I love you." He whispered, out of the blue. Magnolia smiled. "I love you too," Magnolia suddenly gasped. "Did you hear one of the seventh years is pregnant?" Draco looked up. "Really?" Magnolia nodded. "Yeah and the dad proposed to her just because she's pregnant. I'd hate for that to happen with us." Draco nodded, his face falling.
Of course that hadn't bene the reason why he was proposing. He loved Magnolia with all of his heart but he didn't want her to thing that that was the reason he was though. Draco shook his head. "I'd never do that. If I'm proposing it's cause I love you." Draco whispered. Magnolia nodded. "Yeah. I know that but like a part of me can't help but wonder if we got back together just because Val." Draco laid his hand on Magnolia's knee. "Hey, no. That's not it at all," Draco sighed. "I came to you before I even knew she was mine to get back with you and you just ended up telling me the same day." Magnolia chuckled. "I suppose you're right. Oh well, it's not like you plan on proposing anytime soon." Draco nodded, his hand closing around the box. "Right, yeah. That'd be silly."
Authors note
there's going to be a second book because there's some unanswered things like why doesn't the author follow canon? simple, Screw canon! Anyways there's going to be a second book because I love love love love Mags and Draco together. Like I absolutely love them and I want to explore more into Dahlia's character, if I did that in all one book I'd feel like I'd be stretching it out, who knows maybe I'm doing the same thing either way.
Um so look out for that one and there maybe be another book having to deal with these characters coming out....maybe, who knows.
Also I know it's like confusing and stuff with George and Magnolia's relationship but let me clear that up so all the adults had no idea about Magnolia and Notts' relationship so they thought Mags and George were dating and then the teens all threatened to tell Theo so she ended things with George, started things back up with Draco then when she got to school her and Theo ended things.
She got with George because she and Draco got into an argument and ending things for a few months so yeah. it's all confusing.
