Draco had been at St. Mungos for hours now. It was morning and everyone else had come home. Draco was looking over the vending machines. He was trying to find something healthy but it all looked like junk. Draco reached into his pocket to fish out some coins.

"Draco?" Draco turned around and saw his mother. Draco's face fell. "Mother?" He whispered, his brows knitting together. "Wh-what are you doing here?" Narcissa sighed. "I figured I'd find you here." She whispered. Draco tilted his head. "Y-you did?" Narcissa nodded. "I saw the look in your eyes when you found out Magnolia was here," Draco's shoulders fell and his gaze moved to the floor. "You lied to us, didn't you, Draco?" She asked. Draco nodded. "I didn't know the first few months. She lied to me. She was scared I wasn't going to be there." Narcissa nodded. "And after she told you?"

Draco scoffed. "I'm scared. What if I mess something up? What if-""Draco, this is your chance to be better than your father," Narcissa whispered. "I think you'll be a wonderful father, Draco. Don't not be there. It's obvious that you care about her and you care about this baby or else you wouldn't be here," Narcissa stepped forward and grabbed Draco's hands. "This is your chance at a family, Draco. I saw the way you looked at her when we were school shopping last year," Narcissa chuckled. "I used to have someone who looked at me like that and then...I married your father. The point is, Draco be there for her. Be there for your daughter." Draco chuckled. "I already planned on it."

Narcissa pulled her hands away and crossed her arms over her chest. "And you just let me drone on?" Draco shrugged. "I wanted to hear you finish." Narcissa's smile fell. "Are they okay?" Draco looked up and nodded. "For now," He took a deep breath. "You won't tell father right?" Narcissa shook her head. "No. I would never. I want to see you happy, Draco, and this is your chance."

Draco smiled. "I really love her, Mum." Narcissa smiled. She placed her hand on Draco's cheek. "I know." She whispered. Narcissa pulled her hand away. "Are you going to propose?" Draco shrugged. "If she takes me back, definitely." Narcissa sighed. "You should get some rest." Draco stiffened. "I'm not leaving." Narcissa nodded. "I figured. I meant here." Draco sighed and looked towards the vending machine. "I was actually getting food. I'm starving but there's nothing good and the cafeteria isn't open yet."

Narcissa nodded. She pulled her wand out and summoned an apple. "There, just until the cafeteria opens." Draco smiled. "Thanks, mum." Narcissa smiled. "You haven't called me that in ages. Lucius forced you to use mother and father. I hate it." Draco looked at her. "Well it won't hurt to start calling you mum." Narcissa smiled. "Get some rest, Draco." Draco nodded. "I will."

Narcissa turned and left. Draco sighed and tossed the apple into the air. He caught it and walked towards Magnolia's room. Draco pushed the door open and bit into the apple. He froze, teeth still buried in the apple. Magnolia was sitting up in the bed rubbing her eyes. Draco pulled the apple away.

"Y-you're awake." Draco whispered. Magnolia pulled her hands away and looked up at Draco. A smile formed on her lips. "You're here." She whispered. Draco nodded. He stepped closer to the bed. Magnolia looked down at her bump. "The baby's okay?" She whispered Draco nodded. His brows knitting together. "Yeah. She's alright." Magnolia laid her hand on her stomach and her head fell against the headboard.

"Please tell me you changed your mind." Magnolia whispered. Draco walked over and sat beside her on the bed. "I changed my mind," He whispered. Draco and Magnolia made eye contact. "Harry lectured me and so did my mother," Draco stated. He smiled. "But the real decision point was when I heard the heartbeat." Magnolia beamed at him.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" Draco nodded. "I cried. Harry tried making fun of me but uh, I have, what do you muggles say? When you have information on a person to use for blackmail?" Magnolia chuckled. "You have dirt on him?" Draco nodded. "Yeah, that." Magnolia smiled as she felt a kick, reminding her that bean was okay.

Draco looked down at his lap. "So this thing with you and Weasley?" Draco started. Magnolia sighed. "I'm breaking up with him. It's going to be hard but I have to do it. I don't feel anything towards him." Draco looked up. "So?" He whispered. Magnolia raised her brow. "Soooooo?" She wanted to hear Draco say the words. "We can do this? T-t-together?" Magnolia reached forward and grabbed Draco's hand. She smiled at him and nodded. "Together." Draco let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding in. "Oh thank merlin." Magnolia chuckled.

An idea popped into her head. "Here. You thought hearing the heartbeat was cool," Magnolia whispered. "You've seen nothing yet." Magnolia guided Draco's hand to her stomach. As soon as Draco's hand laid on her stomach he felt a kick. Draco smiled and looked up at Magnolia. "Holy pygmy puff. She should be a football player." Magnolia tilted her head. "You don't know the phase 'I have dirt on them' but you know about Football." Draco sighed. "Because you told me about it." Magnolia shrugged. "I didn't think you'd remember." Draco grinned. "I remember you telling me you want lilies at our wedding and the cake to be chocolate." Magnolia raised her brow. "Our?" She whispered.

Draco nodded. "Mhmm, if you think you're marrying anyone but me, you're mistaken, Potter." Magnolia smiled. She leaned back in the bed, Draco's hand not leaving her stomach. "I like the sound of that," Draco grinned.

"When can I get out of her?" Magnolia whispered. Draco looked up. "The doctors said they want to keep you for surveillance for a day." Magnolia nodded and laid her hand on top of Draco's. "I just want to get out of here." Draco shook his head. "No, you're safe here. I want you to stay here until breaks over." Magnolia sighed and nodded. "Me too. I never wanted this to happen, Draco, but it's all my fault. I shouldn't have gone after Harry," Tears had run down Magnolia's cheeks. Draco reached up and wiped them away. "It's not your fault, okay? Don't blame this on you. It's not your fault."

Magnolia took a deep breath. "It is though." Draco shook his head. "No, not this. Alright?" Magnolia nodded as her eyes fell on the bed."
