Narcissa handed Magnolia a cup of tea and gave her a warm smile as she picked up her own. "Sugar?" Magnolia shook her head. Narcissa brought her tea cup up to her lips and took a sip. "How have you been since...the incident?" Magnolia looked up at Narcissa and nodded. "Good, good. I was on bed rest for the past two weeks because the stress it caused my body but I'm good." She whispered.

Narcissa set her cup back down. "How's Draco taking all of this?" Magnolia's head snapped up. "He told you?" Narcissa chuckled and shook her head. "No, dear. I'm a mother. I knew." Magnolia placed a hand on her stomach. "How did you?" Narcissa sighed. "I saw the look in his eyes when he heard you were in the hospital. I went there the next morning and he confirmed," Magnolia nodded. "I also know that it wasn't one night." Narcissa took a sip of her tea.

"The look in his eye again?" Magnolia whispered. Narcissa shrugged. "Something like that," Her eyes fell on Magnolia's stomach. "How far are you?" Magnolia looked down. "Um eight months almost." Narcissa's eyes widened. "Wow, it's getting closer." Magnolia smiled and nodded. "I'm terrified." Narcissa sighed. "I was too. Especially with who the father was," Magnolia glanced up at Narcissa. "I assume you know?" Magnolia nodded. "He told me." Narcissa shook her head. "I was terrified the first time it happened. He was only five, I tried to intervene but, Lucius hit me with the cruciatas curse. It's terrible pain." Magnolia nodded. "It's terrifying. I felt like all the air was pulled out of my lungs and think I screamed but I'm not sure."

Narcissa's eyes glanced around the room. "This is where I'd bring Draco after a particularly bad time," Narcissa whispered. "He practically grew up here." Magnolia nodded. Now she understood what the pictures were. "Was Mr. Malfoy always a monster?" Narcissa nodded. "I'm afraid so. I was forced to marry him. I didn't want to but I had no other choice." Magnolia brushed a piece of hair behind her ear. "You didn't want to be casted out."

Narcissa shook her head. "No. I saw what they did to my sister. I haven't talked to her in years. I hear she has a daughter now, much older than you but-""Tonks?" Narcissa looked up. "Tonks?" Magnolia shook her head. "Sorry. We call her Tonks. Her names Nymphadora. She hates it so she has us call her Tonks." Narcissa smiled. "How is my sister?" Magnolia shrugged. "I don't know. I've only just met Tonks last summer. She's apart of the order."

Narcissa nodded. "Ah yes. The order," Narcissa looked down at her lap. "Is it really a girl?" Magnolia smiled. "Yes. It is. I hope she has Draco's eyes." Narcissa looked up, grinning. "Oh a little girl with his nose and your lips would be gorgeous." Magnolia nodded. "Oh I hope she get's his cheekbones." Narcissa smiled. "He has very nice cheek bones. What does Draco hope she looks like?" Magnolia scoffed. "He wants a mini me."

"Have you two talked about names?" Magnolia shook her head. "No, not yet. I suppose we should though. I'm thinking of letting Draco pick the name because I kept it a secret for so long." Narcissa tilted her head. "You shouldn'-""I want to. I feel like it's the only way to make it up to him. Of course if he picks something truly hideous I'll object and I'll chose the middle name." Narcissa smiled. "You love him, don't you?" Magnolia smiled.

"A lot. He's the only person in my life who doesn't care about my brother's fame. I feel like I'm constantly overshadowed by Harry but not with Draco." Narcissa's smile fell. "Is he good to you?" Magnolia looked up. "Yes. He's the greatest although I could go without the healthy food," Narcissa chuckled. "But no. He's great. He doesn't deserve what's happened to him." Narcissa nodded. "I couldn't agree more. I was furious when I found out he got the mark. As a mother you spend your entire life protecting your children but I couldn't protect him from that or his father."

Magnolia felt a kick at that moment. She knew Narcissa needed something to cheer her up. "Would you like to feel her kick?" She asked. Narcissa's head shot up. "Oh, could I?" Magnolia nodded. "Of course. You are her grandmother." Narcissa set her cup down and stood up. She walked over to Magnolia and laid her hand on Magnolia's stomach. A few seconds later Narcissa felt a kick against her hand and her face light up. "That's wonderful." She whispered. Magnolia nodded. "It's my favorite part of all this. Just knowing that she's there." Narcissa smiled. "I'm glad." Narcissa pulled her hand away and sat down next to Magnolia.

"I wanted to let you know that I am here if you every need anything. I know that your mother is...I just want to let you know If you have questions or if you need someone to talk to. I'm here," Magnolia nodded. "You can write me anytime and request to visit me here but make sure you use a different name." Magnolia thought for a minute. "How does Millicent sound?" Narcissa nodded. "Yes, Millicent Peters so I don't get confused with my old lady brain." Magnolia chuckled.

They two had spent hours talking. Magnolia looked over at the clock and gasped. "Oh my god! Draco's probably worried sick. I should get back." Narcissa's eyes drifted up to the clock and she nodded. "Yes, you should. Be careful and remember write me if you need anything at all." Magnolia nodded as she stood up. "I will. I promise."

Magnolia walked out of the small house and bumped into someone. "Sorry." She looked up to see those piercing grey eyes she loved and messy platinum blond hair. "Oh my merlin, you're alright!" Draco pulled Magnolia into a hug and Magnolia groaned. "You're crushing us." Draco pulled away. "Right, sorry. Where were you? We were worried sick," Draco looked up. "What were you doing in there?" Magnolia smiled. "I was talking to your mother. She's nice." Draco's jaw dropped.  "My-my mother?" Magnolia nodded. She reached up and pushed Draco's moth shut. "You'll catch flies, hun. Come on, let's go back to the castle."

Draco sighed. "We have to get Blaise and the others first." Magnolia raised her brow. "Were all of you looking for me?" Draco nodded. "Yes. I was on my way to reconnect with them and we were going to go tell Dumbledork." Magnolia chuckled. "I think you mean Dumbledore." Draco nodded. "That's what I said." Magnolia chuckled and shook her head. "Alright, Draco."

They group was walking up to the castle now. Magnolia held tightly to Draco's hand seeing as they were out of sight of any prying eyes. Magnolia was shivering as they reached the castle grounds and Draco sighed. He pulled his hand away and unraveled his scarf. "Honestly, you'd think for a pregnant woman you'd go outside with more clothing to prevent the flu," Draco wrapped his scarf around Magnolia. He yanked Harry's hat off his head causing Harry to stare at him in shock. "But nooo, I'll be just fine in my thick coat. No hat, no scarf, no gloves," Draco placed the hat on Magnolia's head. "Anyone have any gloves?" Blaise reached into his bag and handed Draco a pair of green and grey gloves.

"I'm not a child you know." Magnolia pouted. Draco nodded. "No, but you act like one," Magnolia stuck her tongue out at Draco as he rolled his eyes. "See a child." Magnolia nodded. "Oh yeah then that makes you a pervert!" Draco shook his head. "I am not a pervert, Magnolia. We are the same age." Magnolia sighed. "Will you just give me your hand again?" Draco chuckled and intertwined their fingers together.

As they walked through the courtyard they noticed a black carriage. "That's weird. I wonder if there's a new teacher or something." Hermione whispered. Magnolia shrugged. "Probably or something." They walked into the castle and Magnolia and Draco immediately pulled their hands apart. Harry reached over and snatched his hat off Magnolia's head, placing it back on his own while grumbling about pregnant privilege. They heard the doors open and the group turned around.

A girl with shoulder length hair as black as day and hazel eyes stood in the doorway. Her eyes fell on Magnolia and she looked her up and down. The young girl looked to be around the same age as the rest of the group.

She stood straight with impeccable posture. Her eyes looked around the group before she nodded to them. She walked down the hall and Magnolia looked up at Draco. "Wh-""I don't know, love. Perhaps she's a new student."

The girl had indeed been a new student. A student that Dumbledore had no clue about.
