When Madelyn stepped through the opening, her mind went blank. She felt like she was trapped in a room that extended onwards in all directions for miles and the only color there was white. Every thought she had was leaving her and the more she ran behind those thoughts, the faster they flew away.

Despite this, she didn't feel panic. She just felt blank. Completely blank.

Madelyn's head hurt. There was a dull, but constant ache behind her eyes and she hated it. Without opening her eyes, she reached up, massaging her forehead, hoping the pain would slowly ease away.

It didn't ease away.

When she ran a hand through her hair, it was damp, making her wonder why. She didn't think much of it in the end and ignored it.

Madelyn turned over to her side. She saw red from behind her eyelids and slowly opened her eyes. She squinted against the sunlight coming in from the window, blinking a few times and rubbing her eyes.

She took a deep breath before looking around and everything from the day before slowly came back to her as her sleep left her.

Her hair was damp from the rain the day before since she'd never actually bothered to dry it. She hadn't changed out of her school clothes yet and she had no idea when she fell asleep. All she remembered was walking into her room the day before.

Madelyn was back in England and in her old room. She'd left Narnia behind with no guarantee of return. It was as if she'd never met the Pevensie siblings, Caspian, or the Narnians. It was as if Narnia had never happened.

And to her, it never did happen.

Narnia had been erased from every single memory she had.

AN: Oh my god! Okay, that's it. I know this was an extremely short chapter, but it was just to tie everything off for this book. We're done with this book and I'm starting Voyage of the Dawn Treader pretty soon. I can't even begin to explain how excited I am for it. I have so much planned. I decided that I'm just going to keep going in this book because it's just a lot of trouble to start an entirely new one. Okay, so thank you so, anyone, who read this and I will have the first chapter of the Voyage of the Dawn Treader out as soon as possible.
