AN: Okay so I know I was kinda a jerk with the last chapter and I apologize. But I think this chapter kinda makes up for it. I mean obviously, not completely but still. Anyway, this is so sad. I might even cry. This is it guys. We're done. This is the end. I wanna say thank you to anyone who has read this and I really hope everyone has a good day.

Years had passed and every day she thought about the moment she would see Edmund again.

She had imagined it so many times in her head. The very moment she would be with him again. And this time, they wouldn't have to leave.

When she imagined Aslan's Country in her head, she'd always expected it to be beautiful. But actually seeing it, she realized that what she had imagined was nothing near how truly beautiful it actually was.

When she reached Aslan's Country, she first wondered about her parents. Would they be there?

It didn't take too long for her question to be answered. She only had to walk a bit before finding them.

At first, she just stood in the distance, looking at them. She could barely believe her eyes. There they were. After so many years, there they were.

"Mum? Dad?" Her voice was trembling.

They turned, hearing her voice, smiles on their faces.

"You're here." It was an obvious observation, but it was all that came out of her mouth.

Before they could even respond, she ran into their arms, never wanting to let go. Part of her was scared that if she let go, they would disappear.

But they wouldn't. They would be right there.

"Look at you. You look so beautiful." Said her mother with tears in her eyes.

"I'm so proud of you, Maddy." Said her father with a smile.

"For what?" She asked.

"Everything. You always proved my right when you made the right decision. You did so many difficult things and never backed down from a challenge." He said. Madelyn let out a small still barely being able to believe what was happening.

She told her parents everything. She'd dreamed of this moment for so many years and finally, it had happened.

But even after meeting them, she still wondered about Edmund. She hadn't even gotten a chance to find out whether he was there or not yet.

So when she finally got the chance, she was determined to find him. But no matter where she searched, he was nowhere to be found.

Maybe he wasn't there yet. Maybe she would have to wait until she met him.

She found her way to a small stream, sitting on the side. Aslan's Country was perfect and she could never deny how thankful she was for it. But she couldn't help but feel as if something was missing. And she wasn't wrong. She still wasn't with Edmund.

Sitting by the stream reminded her of something. It reminded her of the day after she came to Narnia for the very first time. She had been sitting next to a stream much like she was now. Edmund had been with her.

"Hey Ed." Edmund looked at the smile on her face and noticed how it seemed to make everything seem brighter.

"What're you doing here all alone? People have been looking for you." Madelyn's brows drew together.

"They have?" Edmund blinked.

"Well people meaning me. Oh and Lucy. She said she was bored and she wanted to find you. Looks like I beat her to it." Madelyn gave him a lopsided grin.
