Author-nim: I know I’ve said this not too long ago, but as of current writing this is the new longest chapter, and it surpassed the previous one by a huge margin so I doubt you’ll see this message in the near future again.

Also, I’d like to say that the subsequent chapters would be longer than what they used to be.

With that said, enjoy the chapter!

Soyeon was literally holding bottles of Soju, and judging by the look on her face I was sure that those weren’t all of the drinks she had prepared. She has more in stock.

Oh so she’s planning to make this spicy it seems.

I don’t really mind if she decides to put alcohol into the picture like that and honestly, I never drank any form of liquor with the girls before so that’s a welcome for a first time. She’s really smiling really wildly, so I have a huge feeling that this won’t be just the typical drink and talk type of deal; there’s got to be something unusual that’s waiting to happen behind the curtains and I’m absolutely interested on what else she has in store for us.

Of course, the sight of Soyeon holding bottles of alcohol was bound to earn interesting reactions from her other members, but the remainder of us were too fixated on the drinks that we failed to notice what Minnie-noona was holding. I could bet that I was the first person to notice it.

Minnie-noona was holding a small plastic jar, similar to the ones they use when they pack a bunch of candies except that it wasn’t filled with the usual sweet treats. From where I was seated, it appeared as though it was filled with tons of rolled paper strips. I’ve had a good idea on what it was for but then I want to hear it from Soyeon herself.

I don’t want to go blurting out what it was and I turn out to be wrong. I don’t want to embarrass myself like that.

“You all know what this is, right? We’ve tried it when we were trainees-well except for Shuhua- but I thought we try it here again,” Soyeon said as she placed the seven bottles of Soju in front of the couch before sitting on the floor. “You’re all good with drinking, right? It actually makes the conversations a bit more… fun.”

Minnie-noona placed the plastic jar beside the bottles and she too sat beside Soyeon.

“So what’s with the jar and the roll of papers?” Soojin asked, a tone of curiosity echoing in her voice. “How would it help to make the conversation fun?”

They never did this before now, did they?

Soyeon clapped her hands together. “Well, for this night I thought we put a little game in it. So we’ll arrange ourselves in a circular fashion and there’ll be a single bottle in the middle. We will spin the bottle every once a while and whoever the bottle points get to choose between Truth and Dare.”

I knew it. It’s a classic.

“So here’s the catch,” Soyeon said before any of her members could talk. “I know that during these games people would often pick Dare because it’s generally easier and they don’t want to get asked by a lot of awkward questions, so I made it so that the Dares would be random and would be taken from this jar here. The rolls of paper you see inside are Dares of different calibres: they could be a very daring task or a very easy one.”

“Wait, what do you mean ‘daring’?” Miyeon-noona asked with a panicked tone.

“So about the Truths, who would ask questions?” Yuqi asked, apparently ignoring Miyeon.
