Author-nim: Soyeon being afraid of the dark has totally no basis and I simply used it as a plot element for what’s ahead, so if I’m totally inaccurate on that, I’m really sorry. It’s just for the chapter plot. Enjoy!

Thanks to Soojin’s surprise blowjob from a few nights ago; my libido was still left intact for the next few days and refreshed every time I saw her devilish wink. It even came to the point where I no longer knew which was more awkward: the unsung fact that the reason behind Soyeon’s special request was still hidden to me despite me asking her personally and her repeatedly responding with a smirk and a ‘you’ll know when we get there,’; or the fact that Soojin let me blew my load all over her and wanted to have another session with me when we came back,(something she repeatedly reminded me of every time I saw her at the dorm); or the fact that Shuhua and I never talked for so long since they all came back from their tour, and thus leading the pressure of talking to her(not to mention the worry of awkwardness growing between us) becoming greater with each passing day.
Nevertheless, the inevitable day of the LA flight came and Soyeon and I prepared accordingly. Manager Lee took the pleasure of driving us to the airport, much to the rising excitement of Shuhua and Yuqi as they both tagged along for the ride.
Fortunately, I got a few conversations and jokes with (G) I-dle’s maknae line as we all made way to the airport; they sure as hell know how to brighten up the day. The small talk and their occasional crack headedness managed to shake off my impending tension between Soyeon and with Shuhua, with the latter whole heartedly giving me a large hug as Soyeon and I bid farewell as we walked inside of the airport.
Soyeon and I remained silent throughout the entire trip as she elected to do a little vlog similar to when she first rode a plane for True Damage. I chose to pretend to sleep during the time she’s vlogging, with her playfully snagging a vid of me sleeping while informing the watchers that her manager’s too tired. Little does she know; I heard the entire thing.
Business immediately commenced as we soon got off from the plane, and boy does LA feel so much colder than I expected at this time of the day. Granted, it was quite the start of the cold season as we arrived but god being used to Korea’s climate is killing me, especially when I’m not dressed appropriately to combat the cold weather.
Luckily, Riot Games booked each of us with a hotel room a few hours before the conference begins. I placed my luggage and gently surveyed the room as I left Soyeon checking hers from across the hall.
It was quite the scene with the very spacious room; curtains clad large glass windows overlooking the great view of Los Angeles, perks of having the room so high up in the hotel. The room had a very soft bed overlooking the small dining room, with the central oaken table surrounded by four identical chairs that shared its aesthetic patterns. I threw myself on the bed and soon enough I fell asleep.
BUZZ, BUZZ, BUZZ
I woke up to what seemed to be the hotel door’s electrical room bell ringing. I groggily sat up and as the door kept ringing, I pulled my legs and lazily walked towards the door. I don’t even know what time it was already.
I peeked through the peephole and saw Soyeon standing at the front door, her hand clutching what appeared to be a stack of folded papers and her handphone. With that, I opened the door and greeted her with a smile.
