Star Wars the Clone Wars: The Wolf Blood Knight (Fives x OC)

A Jedi in Danger

Narrator POV

Last time, on Star Wars the Clone Wars, Jedi Knight Vetera Shan has fallen prey to an unknown illness. Sedated after attacking her men and her fellow Jedi, she has no memory of attacking them. Now in the medical centers of Corusant to discover what had caused the young Jedi Knight to attack those she cares about, the Council has sent Jedi Master Luminara to find out what she can at the facility where Vetera was kept. Will she find the answers or will there be more questions that will prolong Vetera's condition?

3rd Person POV

Vetera was being taken to a room, restrained to her stretcher to prevent her from lashing out and still heavily sedated, her ears were still pointed and her fangs and claws were still out. She was breathing heavily as Ralim had come to stay by her side, as had Fives, Cruiser, Overkill and Krux. She was moving her head around as her breathing was harsh and heavy, as if she wasn't getting enough air. Fives looks at his wife in worry, it was killing him seeing her in pain and sick like this and being unable to help her.

"It's going to be OK, General. They'll fix you up right as rain." Fives says softly to his General and her twitched as if she could hear him as her breathing got a little easier. Ralim extends his hand and uses the Force to connect with his Master.

"From what I'm able to sense, her head is in a lot of pain. She doesn't know why, but the pain got bad enough to cause her to "black out" when she attacked us." Ralim says after a while, but he knew that his Master needed help. Fives, Overkill, Krux and Ralim look to the door as it opens to show Anakin, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, Master Plo Koon, Fisto and Captain Rex along with Commander Cody and Wolffe.

"How is she?" Anakin asks softly as he looks in concern to Vetera, seeing her head toss and turn this way and that, her breathing heavy and panting like her Wolf Form after a very long run.

"Not well, not well at all." Krux says in worry.

"If it gets any worse, we fear she may..." Overkill says, trailing off not wanting to say it. He wouldn't say it and wouldn't believe it. He had to believe the General who saved him, brought him back to his brothers, would pull through and be OK. Ralim sits in the chair beside his Master's bed and rests his elbows on his knees, his hands holding his head up. He wasn't going to leave his Master's side.

"They sent Luminara to the facility where Vetera was kept and experimented on. Maybe we'll find the answers there and a way to stop what's happening to her." Anakin says as he puts a hand on the young Padawan's shoulder. Ralim nods, not looking up from his Master's pained face. He wasn't leaving his Master's side again, he left her side when she said she had a migraine and would see the medics after the mission. He believes he should have insisted he see the medics, maybe they could have caught this before she attacked them.

"Please, Master, please be OK." Ralim says softly, wanting nothing more than for her to wake up, being back to her normal self, training him in meditation and lightsaber combat, along with life lessons he will need to know to be the best Jedi Knight he can be when he was ready to become a Jedi Knight.

With Master Luminara

They land on the planet that Luminara found Vetera.

"To be honest General, I was hoping not to come back here after we found General Shan when she was a youngling." Gree says to his General.

"Neither was I, Commander Gree." Luminara agrees as she and the men take the route they remember taking to the abandoned facility. Luminara uses her saber to cut a new entrance into the facility and they enter. They then begin looking around, finding the room where the enemy kept kept young Vetera. One of the men pulls up a video log, showing a younger version of Vetera, restrained to a table, her hair much shorter back than but long enough to be in pigtails and saw a Kaminoan approach her and she begins struggling. They watch as the Kaminoan injected her with a sedative and her struggles slowly cease.  They watch as the Kaminoan cut her head open, taking something and sticking it inside her head. The Kaminoan then patched her head up and the video goes to static.
