Star Wars the Clone Wars: The Wolf Blood Knight (Fives x OC)

The Deserter

Obi-Wan, Cody, Rex, Jesse, Kix, Hardcase, Cruiser, Nexu, Blaster, Bruiser, Nick, Sentry, Sebastian, Samuel, Boomer, Luther, Mark, Mick, Target a, few other Clones and I land on the planet. I walk with Obi-Wan, Rex and Cruiser.

"Instead of scattering our troops searching for all the escape pods, we shall head to the wreckage of the landing transport first." Obi-Wan says as we walk.

"Very well old friend." I say as we walk, heading toward the ship he was talking about.

"Uh...shoo! Shoo!" I say to the tiny critters on the ground as I try to not step on them. I climb up onto the tank to stand beside my fellow Jedi.

"General Kenobi, General Shan!" Rex calls, we turn to look at him and Cruiser as they pull up on speeders.

"Sirs! The cruisers have returned to orbit!" Cruiser reports to us.

"Any sign of Grievous?" Rex asks.

"I believe we have found Grievous' ship." Obi-Wan says to our men before I look toward the fallen and ruined ship. We start to head to it to see if we can find a way to find Grievous.

Cody was crouched near the crashed ship's engines.

"Normalizing tanks are still warm! This couldn't have happened too long ago!" Cody reports.

Rex, Cruiser, Nexu, and Jesse walk up to us.

"The crew compartment is almost entirely destroyed." Rex reports to us.

"We'll split into teams, Vetera take Rex, Cruiser, Jesse, Hardcase, Kix, Nexu, Nick, Sentry and Target and search those wetlands." Obi-Wan says to us, making me nod in understanding.

"Yes Master Kenobi. C'mon men." I say as I signal to them, before we head for the speeders.

"Cody, you Cryze and I will pick it up from here." I hear Obi-Wan says to Cody.

"And Vetera *I turn toward him to show I was listening* if you find General Grievous, contact us before you engage." Obi-Wan says to me and I nod in understanding. I pull on my helmet as Rex, Cruiser, Jesse, Hardcase, Kix, Nexu, Sentry, Target, Nick and I continue to the speeders before we get on.

"Vetera is a smart woman and Rex and Cruiser are smart men." I hear Cody say to Obi-Wan.

"Indeed. Always thinking on their feet." I hear Obi-Wan agree with his soldier and friend before we get going before I pull on ahead beside Rex and Cruiser. I love going fast on a speeder, it's one of the only ways to get a rush and feel alive sometimes. We ride for a while, scouting and looking for General Grievous. But all of a sudden, a blaster shot hits Rex in the middle of his chest and me in my shoulder!

"Rex!" I yell as he flies back off the speeder, as I did as well and we land on our backs.

"Jesse, Hardcase, Cruiser, Nexu, Target go after whoever or whatever shot at Captain Rex! Kix, Sentry, you two and I will protect Captain Rex and General Shan!" Nick says and they all nod before Kix, Sentry and Nick go to Rex's and side. I help remove his helmet and my shoulder armor with my good arm, Rex is out cold.

"Jesse, you better get back here!" Kix coms his brother as he, Sentry, Nick and I inspect the damage on both Rex and I, and boy was I glad to take medic classes before this stupid war started!

"How bad?" Cruiser asks as he, Jesse, Hardcase, Nexu, and Target come up to Sentry, Kix, Nick and I, who had removed our helmets to see the injury Rex had better. Nick had crimson-red hair with sea-green eyes and a scar over his lip and one on his cheek below his left eye. Target had short dark brown hair in a military cut, golden-brown eyes, and a bomb with a lit fuse tattoo on his neck.
