The battle was raging around us, the 125th and the 501st were battling as hard as they can to gain an edge over the Umbarans, but it was difficult. The tension between Krell and I has not lessened at all. Krell is too blindly set in his ways, obviously used to being obeyed without question, well he's not going to find that with me or my men. I was fighting in the thick of it with my men and brothers. I see a trooper injured on the ground and make a break for him, dodging enemy fire and see he was one of the 501st.
"Hang on Trooper, I've got you." I say as I pick him up carefully before I begin running, looking for the nearest medic.
"General Shan! Over here!!" I hear and look around before I see Kix waving at me to come to him, I nod and break into a run, dodging fire both friendly and enemy. I help sit the Trooper against some cover.
"You're going to be ok, buddy. This will ease the pain." Kix says, before injecting the Trooper with the pain reliever and thee soldier grunts at the injection. I nod once I had made sure the man was going to be ok before I begin making my way over to Krell. I stand beside Krell as I discreetly glare at him from beneath my helmet as he opens the communication to Obi-Wan.
"The capital city's too fortified! We need your battalions to help us take it!" Obi-Wan says.
"Resistance from the Umbarans has been greater than anticipated. We're holding our ground at the moment!" Krell replies to Obi-Wan as I block another shot.
"We've gathered intel on an airbase to the west, it is resupplying the capitals defenses." Obi-Wan says before I hear something.
"Incoming, incoming!!" A Clone yells before a large shot hits not far from where we were and we take cover.
"Get down, get down!!" another yells as we hit the deck.
"If you could that airbase, it would sever the capital's supply line, allowing the rest of our forces to move in!" Obi-Wan says.
"I'll see to it that the airbase is placed under our control!" Krell vows to Obi-Wan.
"Remember General Krell, General Shan, the entire operation depends on your battalions." Obi-Wan says.
"We know Obi-Wan!!" I yell as we deflect another shot, Krell nods to Obi-Wan before the transmission shuts off.
"Captain Rex, have those coordinates mapped! And all troops ready to move out immediately!" Krell orders beginning to walk away.
"Cruiser, you too!" I say to my first in command.
"Yes, General!" Rex and Cruiser say before they run off to do so.

We were on a ridge now, Rex was using his scopes to check out the base, I was perched on a boulder and I look back at the men. The 501st were worn out, while the men of the 125th were only slightly weary. I had made sure I didn't put them through the same perils as Kell was no doubt putting the 501st in. But the 125th was hard-pressed into keeping up in the 501st and making sure they don't suffer the casualties I was sure they would have suffered if they were left alone with Krell. I shake my head sadly before turning my head forward, to the sprawling, rocky, misty landscape in front of us with the strange glowing red, twisting plants all around us.
"There's a base there alright. And it's heavily guarded, at least three tank divisions plus guns." Rex says as I use my own scopes to take a look and he was right.
"We'll advance along the central gorge. And engage their forces in a full forward assault." Krell says with a definitive nod, making me glare at him.
