I was in the training room before I hear Sergeant Crasher and the Clone Cadets. I lift my head and I grin as I get what I think is an excellent idea.
'I'm thinking of giving the Cadets a little bit of a show.' I think and before I get my light sabers ready.
'I remember when I was a bit younger and meeting my first Cadet squad. *chuckles* I thought their instructor would never shut up!' I think as I spar against training droids. I hear the doors open and I look to see Crasher and the Cadets, before I shift into my humanoid Loth-Wolf form and tackle one of the droids, grabbing one of it's arms in my jaws, shaking my head vigorously in order to rip said arm off.
"Rad!" One of the Cadets says and I look over before I spit the arm out, I return to my human form, shaking my long hair out and pulling it into a ponytail.
"Crasher, I hope you don't mind if I join you until my fellow Jedi join us." I say as I deactivate my sabers, putting them on my belt and walking over.
"Not at all, sir." Crasher says, I see one of the Cadets look a little nervous and I smile which he returns, before we begin walking. We come to where we would meet up with Anakin and Windu. I never did forgive Windu for killing Jango, the only link I had left to our birth parents. He was father's best friend. I could swear one of these Cadets looks just like Boba, but it can't be. The last time I saw Boba was when he was a child and I was on my first solo mission as a Padawan, meeting him and Jango, but that was when I was really young way before the first battle for Geneosis. The door opening brings me out of my thoughts, Anakin and Windu step out and I walk up to stand beside Anakin stands beside me.
"Morning troops." Anakin says.
"Welcome aboard the Jedi Cruiser the Endurance. I am Mace Windu, and these are-" Windu says before Anakin.
"Anakin Skywalker, this is Vetera Shan." Anakin says as he motions to me. I bow my head in greeting to the Cadets.
"Welcome aboard." I say as I smile warmly.
"Today, you'll see how a real working Jedi Cruiser operates. And you'll have the chance to serve alongside two Jedi Knights and a Jedi Master." Anakin agrees with a smile. The Cadets talk to each other excited with smiles.
"Generals, new orders from General Kenobi await you in the War Room immediately." Ponds reports.
"Another time then." Anakin says to the Cadets.
"Master Windu you go on ahead with Master Skywalker, I will continue with the Cadets." I say.
"Very well." Master Windu says. I see one of the Cadets, the one that looks a lot like Boba, scowling at Windu with a scowl worthy of Jango. The memory of that scowl makes me shudder.
"You seem more disappointed than our Cadets." I hear Windu say to Anakin.
"It's our job to instruct and inspire." Anakin replies.
"You just wanted to show off." Windu says.
"Hey, when I show off, it is instructive! And inspiring." Anakin says.
"For you maybe." Windu replies before he, Anakin and a Ponds use the lift to get to the War Room.
"Well Sargent Crasher, shall we?" I ask.
"Yes General Shan." he agrees before he, the Cadets and I begin to get on our way. We get to the bridge and a shooting station and I see Admiral Killian.
"Looks easy, doesn't it? *sighs* Well, looks can be deceiving. There's nothing more dangerous in space than a moving target." Admiral Kilian asks.
