I was checking on the napping Huttlet with Ahsoka.
"The medicine, it's working!" Ahsoka says.
"His fever broke." I confirm feeling the little one's forehead.
"I think he's gonna live to stink another day." she says as we go to help Anakin continue to repair this bucket of bolts.
"Great. Keeping him alive wasn't as easy as you'd hoped, was it?" Anakin says to Ahsoka and I.
"Master, if you have taught me one thing, it's that nothing is easy when you are around." she replies.
"You think Rex, Cruiser and Obi-Wan made it out okay?" I ask, worried for Obi-Wan and our men that we were forced to leave behind on Teth.
"If I know my old master, he has things well in hand. Now help me with this. I want the primary systems fully repaired by the time we reach Tatooine." he says as we get to work.
"You grew up on Tatooine, right? So, for you, this trip is like going home." she says as she hands him a tool.
"Yeah. Home." Anakin replies as he works, deep in thought.

"I was hoping I'd never have to lay eyes on this dust ball again." Anakin growls under his breath.
"Okay. What happened?" Ahsoka asks.
"I don't want to talk about it." he replies.
"How's Stinky holding up?" I ask to change the subject.
"He seems to be feeling much better. His fever is gone. Even you have to admit he's cute when he's asleep." she says.
"I admit I like him better when he's quiet, but only a little." he replies before we hear R2 and R5 beep and chitter.
"No, R2, R5. I want the cannon operational first. Leave the rear deflector shields for later." he says, making Ahsoka and I look at him.
"No rear shields, Master? That's awful risky." she says and I nod in agreement with the Padawan.
"A strong attack eliminates the need for defense, Snips." he replies, before alarms in the ship start to go off and I check the monitors and scanners.
"Attack ships closing!" I report in as I look at the scanners.
"Somebody doesn't want Stinky to get home in one piece." Ahsoka comments before we were fired at, making this bucket of bolts shake.
"Whoa!" I yelp as I struggle to keep my balance.
"Wow! Quite a welcome home party!" she says.
"Set the approach vector and make ready to land. Ahsoka, activate the guns!" Anakin says.
"All the guns are locked in the forward position. It's too bad you decided not to repair the rear deflector shields." she replies.
"Not now, Ahsoka! R2, see if you can unlock those guns!" he says, R2 beeps and chitters, while R5 goes to help R2.
"Sometimes a good defense is the best offense." she says.
"Why don't you go secure your little Huttlet friend?" he snaps.
"None of us are secure with you flying!" I retort as we hang on while Ahsoka secures the Huttlet.
"Hang on, back there!" he says before the ship shakes, she falls and catches the Huttlet who begins to cry.
