Cruiser's POV

I was pacing as I go over reports from the 125th to hand over to my General, to get my mind off of how cruel and unfair Krell was being to my brothers in the 501st especially Rex, Fives and Jesse, when my commlink goes off. I press the button to answer it and Radar's hologram shows up. Radar was one of the 125th's best communications officers.

"Radar, what's wrong little brother?" I ask him.

"Captain Cruiser, Krell has ordered something awful, sir." Radar replies.

"Awful? What has he ordered, brother?" I ask him, seeing his angered, terrified and sorrowful expression.

"He has ordered the immediate execution of Jesse and Fives. You must tell General Shan, sir!" Radar says.

"He ordered WHAT?! Don't worry brother, I will." I say, before we cut communications and I exit my quarters  before the I break into a run to find my General and tell her what was going on in order for her to stop Krell.

Vetera's POV

Krux and I were talking not too far from the base so Krell can't overhear us. We were discussing how to contact Obi-Wan without Krell finding out about it. I sense Cruiser coming at us and I sniff to make sure it was really them.

"Krux, both my Captain is headed this way." I say to my lightsaber wielding Trooper.

"He must be looking for you, but why?" he says.

"Whatever it is, I'll bet it's bad and has Krell written all over it." I reply, before Cruiser comes into view and he quickly snaps a salute.

"Captain Cruiser, why were you looking for me?" I ask him and he looks at me, upset and his Force signature is in turmoil.

"What is it, Captain?" Krux agrees with me.

"Sir...we received word from Radar, one of General Shan's communication officers, that General Krell has ordered the immediate execution of both Jesse and Fives." Crasher replies.

"What?!" Krux and I exclaim, now fully aware.

"How long ago was this?" Krux asks him.

"Long enough for a firing squad to assemble." Cruiser says grimly.

"Where did he even find someone willing to carry out such orders without so much as a court martial?" I ask angrily as I put my hands on my hips before both Krux and I realize who, before we look at each other.

"Dogma!" we chorus before we get moving.

"General Shan, arguing against Krell about this would be pointless-" Cruiser says before I cut him off.

"I'm not going to argue with him, I'm going to stop an execution. Krell has gone way too far this time. He would want to see this execution, so it will be somewhere near the tower, yet out of the way. I believe I have a good idea where the place is and I am going to interrupt." I say as I feel the wolf trying to come out.

"Sir?" Cruiser asks.

"Don't ask Captain Cruiser." Krux says.

"Just make sure that Fives and Jesse will have a comfortable place to say under my care." I say before I let the Wolf out and breaking into a sprinting run to get to the firing squad in time to stop them with Krux and Cruiser running behind me at their own pace as I run on ahead. Please Force, let me get there in time to save them!

At the base

3rd POV

"Line up the prisoners!" Dogma says after the firing squad got into position. Fives forced himself to relax at the call from up ahead, Their time had officially run out, this was really happening now. He felt like he swallowed something foul as he and Jesse were led to stand in front of a random wall in front of the enemy base, prepared to be gunned down by comrades for being heroes and doing the right thing. There was nothing right about this in the slightest. Fives scowled as he saw Dogma was the one leading the firing squad. Rex was walking behind Fives and Jesse, looking uncharacteristically defeated, and among the squad Fives saw Tup was there as well, and did his best not to feel the sting of betrayal at the sight as he felt his chest constrict, knowing that he would never see his Vetera again.
