We had Ahsoka back at the temple to study while Anakin, Obi-Wan and I were back on Christophsis, to help the people drive the droids off again. Obi-Wan and some Clone Troopers were in the South Tower, while Anakin, Rex, Cruiser and a few of our men were in the North, ready to ambush the Separatist Droid Forces with me.
"Anakin, Vetera, how are you doing over there?" Obi-Wan commlinks us.
"We're set." I reply.
"We've got some guys here that are anxious to get going." Anakin agrees, causing Cruiser to smirk.
"Glad to hear it." Obi-Wan replies.
"Sentry, status report." I say as he looks through his helmet's scopes.
"The clankers are advancing. I'm seeing a full battalion coming right on schedule General Shan." he reports as he monitors the droids and I nod in understanding.
"Tanks! They brought tanks!" he reports.
"Just a little closer....They're splitting up!" Sentry says, making my eyes widen.
"What?!" Cruiser says in shock.
"Something has gone horribly wrong." I say, looking at the men, before we see laser fire in the room of the South Tower Obi-Wan was occupying.
"Obi-Wan, what's going on?" Anakin commlinks to his former master.
"We're cut off! The droids are onto us!" Obi-Wan replies.
"Gunship, come in!" I say into the commlink to get to Hawk.
"Hawk, we need an evac in the South Tower!" Anakin says into his wrist commlink.
"Roger that sirs! We're coming!" Hawk says in reply.
"South Tower?" Cruiser asks in confusion.
"We're in the North." Rex agrees, just as confused as his brother.
"Not for long." Anakin says as he and I activate our light sabers, before we cut the glass and use the Force to break it.
"Rex, Cruiser, fire your cables!" I order, they nod in agreement, before three men walk up and fire their ascension cables to make a line from our tower to the other. We get going toward the next tower, I hear the sound of a man screaming and use the Force to grab him and get him to the tower.
"Thank you, sir!" he calls to me before we arrive onto the floor.
"No problem, soldier. Let's get moving!" I reply before we begin slicing the droids as we advance. We get to the room Obi-Wan, Cody, Slick, Jester, Punch, Sketch, Gus and Chopper are in.
"This way is clear!" Anakin says to his former Master.
"How did you two get over here?" Obi-Wan asks us as he blocks more shots from the droids.
"We improvised." I reply as I shrug. Obi-Wan uses the Force to send a cannon toward the droids to make them crash to the ground before the men, Obi-Wan, Anakin and I run to a lift, we then take it to the roof. We run out onto the roof, looking for the gunship.
"Now what?" Anakin asks as I look at him. We hear blaster fire and see the droids, before we begin fighting them. The men take cover and fire at the droids, while Anakin, Obi-Wan and I begin slicing the droids in half or several pieces. We see the gunship and begin making our way there before I see a Clone rip the head of a tactical droid off before he gets onto the gunship.
"Maybe this tactical droid will tell us how they knew our plan." Rex says as he holds the tactical droid head.
