The next day was the last day of the semester. All of us sat in the canteen and it was half day so most students didn't even come. We saw Kyungsoo approach us with luggage, the male nodding at us.
That was his greeting.
"Where are you going?" Sehun asked, Kyungsoo replying that he would go back to his hometown. He would go onto the train after school and he'll see us next semester. "Why not stay in Seoul?"
"Yesterday made me realize that my family may be hurting, too. Need to give them some moral support." He said monotonously before sitting down. "Also, the Leechaiyapornkul's sent something to my house this morning."
He opened his luggage and took out a box. In the box were a bunch of small Yakult's, all of us trying it.
"Wow, well. I think I know why the Gumanthongs like it so much," he said, Baekhyun snapping his fingers.
"How about we find a way to import this stuff into Korea? Say, Kai, what do you think?"
"I think that if we do that, we'll have at least three customers. Zoon, One and Two," Kai mused, sucking on the straw when we saw Sehun stare at Kyungsoo, thinking about something.
"How about we go—"
"No."
"I was just saying that maybe we should go and visit y—"
"No." Kyungsoo stood up. "I am sick and tired of all of you. Goodbye."
And with that, he left.
The break had started and the next day, I was awoken by Matthew who was screaming in my ear to wake up. I opened my eyes and he swooped up in the air, excitedly asking me where we were going for the break.
"What do you mean 'where we are going'? Where do you usually go?"
"Everywhere! I go with whoever lives in this apartment. What are your plans? Stay home and become a hermit?"
"Yes," I said and tried to cover my head with a blanket when Matthew went through my body and I had to throw the blanket away and move away from him. "Matthew, it's cold!"
"Let's go somewhere!"
His pleas were somewhat answered when there was a knock on my door and when I groggily answered it, I saw a very dressed Sehun, Kai, Minseok, Chanyeol, and Harin.
"Happy Summer!" Sehun cheered, raising a bottle of beer in the air when Minseok smacked his arm and told him that he was still a minor and he shouldn't be drinking. "But it's summer!"
"W-What..." Baekhyun mumbled and we all turned to see that he just woke up. "What are you guys doing here?"
"Let's go on a trip—"
"YES! LET'S! LET'S!" Matthew cheered.
"So, I did some researching and when I talked to Kyungsoo, I found out that his hometown is right by my resort," Sehun explained, still holding the beer bottle. "So... I made some arrangements and it's decided that The Bracelet Club will go on an outing."
"Without consulting me?"
"We all know that you're okay with anything, Noona." Sehun waved a hand. "And I negotiated with Harin's parents. It's a four-hour drive, chop-chop! Let's go. Get on packing!"
"How are we going to tell Dad?" Baekhyun asked and I sighed, my brother going to wake my father up to tell him that we were leaving. My father was more than happy to let us go—because that would mean he wouldn't need to cook for us for the next couple of days.
"Oh, that being said, Noona! Can you burn this for Matthew hyung?" Sehun asked, giving me a bag of stuff. Kai and Minseok helped me burn items, all of them appearing in front of Matthew when he clapped his hands.
He was so happy and I laughed at how simple things made him brighten up, the male lifting up a fishing rod.
"Wait... What will I do with a fishing rod?"
"To catch fish?" Baekhyun asked, straightening his hat.
"What kind of fish? Spiritual fish?" Matthew asked, all of us not knowing how to answer his question.
In less than an hour, we were on the road straight to Kyungsoo's hometown and I wondered if he knew we were coming. We divided our group into two cars; Sehun, Harin, Minseok, Matthew, and I in one car. Kai, Chanyeol and Baekhyun in another. Minseok had to drive Sehun's car until he sobered up, Kai and Chanyeol telling each other that they would take turns.
As we sped down the road, Minseok lowered the windows, music blasting loudly from the stereos.
"It's time to relax!" Minseok exclaimed and I smiled, looking out the window. "We'll have so much fun! What can go wrong, right?"
Of course, I thought to myself.
Nothing would go wrong.
