"I keep telling you... I was in the shower and then I was about to go out to get the shampoo on the counter when there was a flicker and I saw a woman by the door of the bathroom—"
"Why were you showering with the door of the bathroom open?" Jeno grumbled. He was a skeptic and the past few minutes of Haechan telling his story, Jeno had butted in that there were no such things as ghosts and everything was in the mind of a person... yada yada yada.
He wanted to be a psychologist, he told us, and that science was the only explanation. Haechan was imagining things. We didn't push the idea to him; Mark, Minseok, and Matthew entering the bungalow and stopping in surprise at how we were crowded around a shivering Haechan.
"Oh no," Minseok whispered, reading all our expressions. "Please don't tell me—"
Kyungsoo nodded, Minseok paling. He knew very well what was happening, Minseok going to grab his notebook to record whatever new information he would learn.
"I felt it! I felt something... it was a girl but then she disappeared as fast as she came!" Haechan told us, Baekhyun glancing at me. "I... I am traumatized!"
"You can sleep in the other room," I told Haechan, Kyungsoo already grabbing both me and Chanyeol to pull us into the middle room where Haechan was at. Baekhyun peeked into the room and shuddered, shaking his head. "Don't want to join us?"
"The only ghost I like is Matthew hyung," Baekhyun told me and tightened Chanyeol's bracelets. "I'll handle the cooking while you guys do the investigating, I guess."
"Do not add anything weird into the broth," Kyungsoo told him, Baekhyun waving a hand and reaching to close the door. "I'm warning you, Byun Baekhyun. Do not—"
And the door closed, Baekhyun walking to the kitchen to probably handle whatever Kyungsoo had started.
We all turned, our eyes running over the bedroom when Kyungsoo stepped forward. He chewed on his bottom lip, trying to sense something when he spoke.
"Is anyone here?" He asked and I frowned when the air went cold, Chanyeol looking around the room. "You feel that?"
The thing is that I felt it. It was like something was there, the energy very different from the living room. Chanyeol seemed to have sensed it, too. The male nodding and going to a different corner of the room.
"Definitely feel it. But I can't see anything...."
"Me too." Kyungsoo looked over at me questioningly and I shook my head, an indication that I don't see anything either.
"Noona, if you can't see anything then this means that there isn't anything, right?" Chanyeol asked, motioning to me. "Your senses are the strongest out of all of us."
"I don't see anything but why does it feel different?" I asked, seeing Kyungsoo go deep in thought when the light dimmed and we saw a spirit flicker on different parts of the room. I blinked, Chanyeol jumping backward, his eyebrows knitted as the temperature dropped. "Did you see that?"
