The following days were filled with us taking turns with our Grim Reapers. There were good things about being registered and I realized that portaling was exactly like how Matthew had told me—convenient and fast. It was the power of the afterlife and I found myself in different countries with a different set of team members. The Bracelet Club had put aside time, even Sehun and Minseok enjoying the ride.

The feeling was new. I knew that Kyungsoo and Peniel had brought Minseok to another point on the map, somewhere in Ghana. Peniel had taken a liking to Minseok and he didn't hold back on showing it. Every time he came back, he'd always tell us that Minseok had always asked the right questions. I didn't expect anything less from Minseok, our very own secretary was always attentive to detail.

The days following "The Zoom" call as Kyungsoo would put it was filled with media coverage over the child—Miles Pennington. Riots were beginning to happen and we all thought it would die down. Surely, people would drop it. News always faded, that was how media worked.

We were wrong, however, and today I found myself in a small town in Russia. Matthew had to go in as a reporter and despite him not knowing the language, we blended in quite well.

"Whatever happens, we just say "Dah"," Matthew told me and both of us stood in front of a small white church. Reporters began to crowd around the entrance when an old man stepped forward. A priest, most likely the head of the church.

What I noticed was that his eyes seemed different.

Deranged and lost.

As he showed up, multiple reports stepping forward in order to shoot him questions. The priest simply looked up, his hands behind his back when he spoke. His voice came out soft, everyone stilling to hear him better.

"All hail Judas, the rightful god," he chanted, his arms slowly raising up into the air.

A shiver ran through my body and I looked around to see that Matthew was gone, my forehead knitting. I spotted him by the side, his screen up in the air as he ran through the database. I made my way towards him, Matthew chewing on his bottom lip.

"Anything new?" I asked, Matthew shaking his head.

"No..." He paused. "His soul has been replaced as well. Bora, none of these people are actually who they are. Don't you think the Vatican is taking this a little bit too lightly?"

I agreed. Riots were beginning to break out and still, the Vatican has done nothing.

"I think they think that it'll die down," I told Matthew, the Grim nodding. "Tell me something, Matthew."

"What?" he asked, looking up and reaching out to grab my hand so we could head to a secluded place to go back to Korea.

"Is there something between about this case that connects Kyungsoo to it?" I asked, Matthew paling at my question. I could feel with how his fingers tensed up.
