Chapel in Selcuk, Turkey

Selcuk Turkey was where Mary Magdalene had died and buried, her bones later distributed to different areas in the world. But her original tomb was kept as is, a statue that was always very well protected with big fences and candles lit around it. It was well kept under the management of St. John Chapel and most likely as years went by, people had forgotten about the area.

Her bones weren't there anymore and that was the important thing. With the absence of it, no one ever paid attention to St. John Chapel in modern times.

The poor gatekeeper, Judas thought to himself as he appeared in front of the chapel. Funny how they helped him unlock the memory and now he would be able to get his hands on the first draft of the bible—the written bible that rightfully explained the truth. He was misunderstood and he needed revenge for it.

He felt more powerful than he ever did. Judas reminisced about the time he went up to the afterlife. He played such a big part, they told him. They asked him if he wanted to be an embodiment of betrayal, something similar to the demons and he agreed. He deserved as much.

Little did they know that once they gave Judas the title, he would come back down onto Earth just like his fellow demons and realized that people hated him and loved Jesus.

Judas watched as they prayed for the other apostles and used his birthday as April Fools. But he was never a liar and he was never a betrayer, why must they view him as one? Judas was engulfed in the rage of being misunderstood, of being falsely accused and now he was here.

They did it with Jesus and God, he could do it, too.

The mortal-turned-demon smirked, making his way towards Mary's Magdalene statue as the gatekeeper's head bobbed from the slumber that had overtaken him. Judas thanked the creation of Miles in his head, his son was his contact with the world, and the fact that he could access Mile's memories had helped him.

The thought of waking the gatekeeper came to mind, Judas brushing it off as he lifted a hand and with a crack, the neck of the gatekeeper snapped in half.

Death.

What a joke, Judas mused.

One step forward towards the statue and with the prayers towards him and Miles, he had finally built an army of his own. Replaced souls so he could wash the world away and start a new life with new people who saw him as God.

Only him.

The statue broke down and with a rumble and a movement of his hand, the hole had dug itself. Judas closed his eyes, the mortal-turned-demon feeling the power of the artifact. Items of the olden days held so much.... Holiness.

He laughed at the word when suddenly he saw it, Judas reaching to touch the first draft of the bible.

This was it. This was how he would turn every one to his side and they would betray every single idea they have ever had about Jesus Christ.

That was the ultimate betrayal.
