The next day Kyungsoo, Chanyeol, and I headed straight to the swimming pool. The rest had their own thing to do and it seemed like I needed an iPhone of my own since their group chats seemed to make things more convenient for them. I walked straight to the pool, my eyes running over the area just to feel Chanyeol's trembling hands slip into mine.

"Noona, I can already feel it."

Chanyeol's sudden change to honorifics wasn't unfamiliar to me. In the end, Sehun and Kai had switched to it after one incident. He gripped my hand, Kyungsoo walking into the swimming pool and standing by the side just to observe the place when I too, could feel it.

The sudden heavy feeling was an indicator that something was around but it didn't necessarily feel evil.

"Where are you?" Kyungsoo asked calmly when Chanyeol whimpered, the male whispering to me that he could feel something beside him. We both turned towards Chanyeol slowly just to see a ghost standing right next to him, the ghost leaning close to his face to inspect the tall male.

"He's back. And he brought a medium and a handler—"

"You." Kyungsoo's voice went deep and the ghost flickered an annoyed glare to my friend.

"I haven't got my letter from the afterlife so there is no need for fear tactics. Mina stayed for far longer than I did!" The ghost said, muttering under his breath. "Handlers. Obliviate, obliviate, obliviate! Is that all you can think of? Mediums, on the other hand—"

The ghost gave me a low bow.

"I love them. Now, can you tell this young man to not drink so many energy drinks and swim so vigorously? If I hadn't stopped him, he would have gotten into shock and drowned himself in the pool! I mean, that was how I died."

"You were trying to save him?" I asked, the ghost nodded, zooming up to stare at Chanyeol who kept his eyes closed.

"I mean, I am kind of a property ghost because I died here and I just want to protect the kids. You know how many kids I have scared away because they were running at the side of the swimming pool and could have hit their head on the concrete?"

"Let me guess, did you die around 5 pm?" I asked, the ghost nodded, placing his ghostly hand on Chanyeol with such friendliness, it was obvious that he was a very nice ghost.

Maybe, too nice.

"Yeah," he told us. "But he saw me. This dude right here—"

"I can hear you, too!" Chanyeol said and the ghost's eyes widened.

"Really? So, I wasn't just imagining it! Dude, you got to work on your freestyle, man. Your arms are too tense."

"Really?" Chanyeol asked, somehow forgetting he was talking to a dead person, the male opening his eyes just to stare straight at the ghost before his knees buckled. "I mean, stay away—"
