The next morning, I had called Yixing and met up with him at the funeral home.

He had told me that he had been there since morning and they were trying to clean up his body and make it look presentable for the funeral viewing. Suho, being a Christian, would have his body buried in a cemetery. Yixing and Suho were best friends, both of them partners in crime.

"Oh, Yixing. From life to death." Suho sighed when I stepped down from the cab just to see Yixing standing in one of the meeting rooms, looking stressed out. "He would want everything to be perfect. I know he would."

Two perfectionists as best friends.

Yixing had spotted me and when he greeted me, his body was warm to the touch. His eyes were red and I saw that a doctor's coat was on one of the chairs. He must have driven and come straight here.

What hurt me, even more, was Suho's fiance, the female sobbing in front of the embalming room while they tried to preserve his body. I had met her more than a few times and when I reached out to touch her, she jumped.

"Oh, Bora."

"Honey."

And then she was in my arms, crying harder than she was a moment ago.

There were things I knew about her. She was a real estate agent and she was working with Kim Doyoung's agency for quite some time- she was superb at her job and Suho often told us that his fiance could sell ice to a penguin if she needed to.

But today, she wasn't a strong woman. Today, she was a heartbroken fiance and a mourning ex wife-to-be.

"I need some time but I told Yixing about a few things Suho would have wanted. Thank you for being here."

"I'll take over, love," I told her, the female taking her leave. I looked up to see Yixing pass me a smile before he turned back to look past the glass. They were still working on the body and wouldn't be done any time soon. "Have you chosen a casket?"

"Yeah. This way. I did some pre-choosing. Suho's parents are too heartbroken to even come."

I looked at Suho, the ghost expressionless when I finally walked towards a book. Yixing had pointed out a few caskets that he thought were suitable when Suho whispered in my ear.

"Gold. Not rose gold!"

"You're even picky when you're dead," I found myself saying.

"Sorry?" Yixing asked and I almost forgot that he couldn't see or hear Suho. "Was I being too picky?"

"Oh... No, no, no, no." I gave him a meek smile before I apologized. "It's just that Suho told me he wanted a gold casket if he ever died. We talked about it once on our graduation day."

"Suho would like gold. It's his style." Yixing agreed, finally choosing the one gold casket that was part of the many choices. "Gold is for old people. No wonder Suho likes it."
