The Bracelet Club [EXO]

[Transition]

I looked out of the bus windows to see us pass SM University, Baekhyun's head bobbing sleepily as my hands tightened over his fingers. The bus drove down the street and I saw a mix of the dead and the living, my eyes strained on the people going on their day without them knowing they were being followed.

"EXO Highschool!" The bus driver announced and I woke Baekhyun up. I was a junior and he would be a sophomore, my brother a year younger than me. We both hopped off the bus and I squinted under the sunlight.

EXO High, I thought. I saw bodies move past us, souls of high school kids laughing to each other and a part of me wondered why a lot of them refused to ascend to heaven. Baekhyun could hear them but he was used to ignoring them and I reminded him that it's best to pretend to not hear anything.

I walked to the gates when I saw limousines parked in front of EXO High, black shiny shoes stepping down on the ground as the door widened. A male stood up; expensive sunglasses perched on his nose when I saw ghosts rushing towards him. He was tall, the male loosening up his neck tie before raising a hand to greet someone.

My eyes moved over to the person he was greeting, another male giving out a smirk. He had a branded bag behind him, the man stepping forward and grabbing a cigarette from his pocket.

"Give me one, Kai," the taller male said and Kai handed him a cigarette with a lighter. "Did you do your homework?"

"Nah. Probably will be copying off Minseok hyung," Kai said and I saw the ghosts crowd around them, gaping at them. "Sehun, I heard our grade will be getting a new kid. Who transfers at the end of the school year like this?"

"Really? Girl or guy?" Sehun asked and I watched him light the cigarette, taking a drag. "Probably trouble makers."

The two men went into conversation and when I passed them, I could hear a very loud voice calling out their names.

"Oh Sehun! Kim Kai!" An older man emerged from one of the limousines and I tilted my head at how clean he looked. His presence seemed to have scared the two, Sehun dropping the cigarette. "How many times do I have to tell you not to smoke in your school uniform? Stop giving EXO High a bad name—"

"Aww, Suho hyung," Sehun grumbled. "Stop abusing your power as President of the Student Council."

"Abusing—" The guy named Suho reached up and slapped Sehun on the back of the head, Kim Kai also dropping the cigarette and refusing to meet his eyes. "How am I abusing my power? Oh Sehun! Come back here!"
