[Transition]

It's been two weeks and I applied for indefinite leave. I was sure they would replace me soon enough but I had saved enough money. I woke up this morning just to hear Chanyeol trying to cook in the kitchen while Suho tried to be a backseat driver.

Suho not being able to sleep was killing him. He had too much time in his hands and nothing to do. It made him wait for us to wake up, the male phasing from happy to sad in a heartbeat the past fourteen days.

I sat on the kitchen table when I saw Kyungsoo come out of my bathroom, toothbrush in his mouth. He too, had been lounging on my couch and had given his duties to his father at the same time.

It was then a knock on the door sounded and we all looked up, Kyungsoo opening it to see Minseok standing there. He stepped in, his expensive all crisp.

"Minseok, what are you doing here?" I asked, Minseok pressing his lips together.

"Bora, I know that you're on a break and Suho just passed away but I really need your help." he paused and Chanyeol motioned him onto the couch, our friend taking a seat. Suho was watching by the side. "Can you come with me to the Philippines?"

"What? What's wrong?"

"Look... You know Sehun and I put up hospitals, right? We have a branch there?" Minseok rubbed his hands together. "The babies have been dying. I mean, their babies are actually being born stillborn. Something is up, Bora. I mean it!"

"Okay, okay. Calm down."

"There have been no drugs, the women were perfectly healthy. We have asked for help from the police but all they gave us was information we already know."

"Minseok hyung, what are you implying?" Chanyeol asked. "A ghost?"

"I was thinking it was something supernatural. It's not a far stretch, considering what I know. Sehun is stressed. His marriage is in shambles. Kai agreed to come with us, we need his brains."

"Never my whole life I would expect to hear "Kai" and "Brains" in the same sentence," Kyungsoo mumbled from the bathroom after he finished gurgling. "When is she going?"

"Seriously?"

"How hard can it be? It's probably some ghost that possesses pregnant women." Kyungsoo shrugged. "Besides, he's paying for it, no?"

"Do I have a choice?" Minseok asked and I slipped into the bedroom where Suho went to.

"You want to come with me?"

"I have to stay with the fiance," Suho said simply, shaking his head. "You go ahead. That being said, you sure all of you guys will come back in one piece?"

I nodded, heading out to see Kyungsoo confronting Minseok.

"Why don't you ever invite me?" He asked and Minseok looked at the priest.

"You have your army to handle--"

"Bitch." Kyungsoo narrowed his eyes at Minseok.

"Kyungsoo, you've been very mean these days," I said from the doorway.

"I'm lonely," he told me, turning back to Minseok. "When are we going?"

"Tomorrow. Sehun, Kai, Bora, Kyungsoo..." Minseok looked at Chanyeol who was staring at him. "Chanyeol and Baekhyun."

"So, all of us except Harin?"

"Yeah. Harin's busy. She has a corporation to run and I have a corporation to save."

I sighed.

This brought us back to when we were in high school.

After 7 years, we were going on a case together.
