When you met Ella for the first time, you were amazed.
This little girl, being able to speak Hilichurlian without any problem?
Needless to say, it didn't take long for you to start showing interest in this language too, and before you knew it you were talking with your little teacher only in this obscure language.
But, as it is with every other language, you can master them only when speaking with natives.
Honestly, it was only a matter of time when you mention your plan to speak with Hilichurls to Albedo.
Thankfully, he didn't object - much.

"That just sounds like a very bad idea."
You frowned at the blonde man's response.
"Come on, where's the endless support of your loved ones?"
"That's only when the idea can't get you killed."
"Really? Then what experiment of yours was safe?"
Seeing him realize his hypocrisy made you smile.
"That's not- the same thing." He mumbled, not even he himself believing it.

After that, neither of you said a word.

"Fine," He sighed, breaking the silence, "but be careful."
You only nodded, taking a moment to mentally celebrate your victory.

"Why does it seem like they stop existing everytime I need to find them?" You mumble to yourself, still trying to find Hilichurls' camp of a reasonable size.
"Ah, there it is!" You exclaim in triumph, before slowly walking to them to not look like a threat - a thing Ella taught you.

"Olah ga la wa!" You try to greet the first Hilichurl that notices you.
"Olah!"
After hearing him repeat the friendly gesture, you release the breath you didn't even realize you were holding.
"Ara ga waseor?"
"Waseor ga rawana!"
His response takes all your worries away. After all, he assured you they belong to Sleepster's Tribe - the most peaceful of them all.

You were talking with him like this, making sure not to wake up the others, when you suddenly hear some grunts from the tent.
"Gru akra was lu gan ya!"
You aren't sure what some of the words mean, but the content of the sentence is enough to make your blood run cold.
'Human not welcome'.
You quickly stood up, ready to explain yourself, but seeing them already with their weapons in hands, you know talking won't get you anywhere.
Without a Vision or any other weapon, you curl up on the ground with your hands shielding your head.
Seeing angry Hilichurls getting closer, you quickly pray to Gods so a random Traveler passing by will save you.
You prepare for the punch, but instead you feel yourself going up in the air.
Before you realize what's going on, you see Hilichurls being blown away from you.
"Haven't I told you to be careful?"
"Albedo!" You shout, a relief washing over you.
You decide it's better for you to stay on the higher ground, leaving the fight to the genius alchemist.
Suddenly, you see a glimpse of a different monster.
"Wait, Albedo! It's not the Hilichurls, there's-"
"-an Abyss Mage, I know."
He finishes the sentence, blowing surrounding Hilichurls farther away than before.
Your magical carpet made of stone starts to return to the ground and before you can react, Albedo grabs you by the hand and both of you start running away.

"Are you hurt?" He asks you after you two get to safety, carefully scanning you with a worried eyes.
You shake your head, looking back in the direction of the camp.
"Don't worry, I made sure not to hurt them. But with the Abyss Mage around, it would be extremely dangerous to go back." He states.
You turn to look at him just to pull him into a hug.
"Thanks. For saving me." You mumble into his shirt, to which you can feel him smile against your neck.
"Just don't go practise your Hilichurlian without me ever again, alright?"
