Albedo & Treasure Hoarder | Babysitting

Right after you open the door to your home, you're immediately greeted by a tight hug, which almost gives you a heart attack.
"Y/N!! Welcome home!!"

"Klee?" After recovering from the shock, you return the hug, "What are you doing here?"

"Jean wanted me to look after her for today." It doesn't take long for Albedo to show up, greeting you in the same time.

After you successfully get out from the hug, you make your way to the living room, looking around the house.

"Alexander still isn't home yet." Albedo answers your unspoken question, to which you only nod and sigh.

It's probably for the best if he doesn't come home until Klee returns to Jean, but that doesn't mean you don't miss him.

"When will he get back?" Klee asks, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Hopefully, not now.

"I'm not sure." You decide to answer, to which you hear sad "Aw" and Klee looks at the ground.

"While we wait for him, do you want to draw?"
You see her immediately perk up and with a newfound excitement she turns to look at Albedo.

"Albedo, can you draw Kaeya?"

"Again?"

"Pleeeeeaseee"

With a defeated sigh, Albedo takes the paper and a pencil she was giving him, quickly sketching (sketching being an overstatement) the Cavalry captain and handing her the drawing, to which she gives him a big smile and starts working on her own drawings.

You giggle a little and decide to sit on a couch next to your boyfriend.
You feel him leaning his head on your shoulder, visibly relaxing.
"This is maybe the 100th time I had to draw him today."

"Will you draw him like one of your Fontaine girls next then?"
You start laughing at your own joke, to which Albedo just sighs and closes his eyes, trying to hide the little smile creeping on his face.

You watch Klee draw for a moment, allowing yourself to relax too.
Maybe this day won't be so bad after all.
You think to yourself, happy with the fact you don't need to worry about the safety of Monstadt and it's people for now.

Not even ten minutes passed before you hear the door open and you feel your hope dying with it.
Klee quickly stands up and runs out of the room, to which you and Albedo exchange looks that say "And here goes the moment of peace".

"Alex!"

"Klee!"

You can hear them greet each other with the same enthusiasm and you slowly rub your eyes, while Albedo pinches the root of his nose.

This will be a long day.

"Do you want to go fish blasting?"

At this point, you sprint out of the room, looking daggers at Alexander.

"Hel-" After noticing your stare, he quickly pauses. "-heck yea! Did you know you can add flaming flower to make your bombs blow up more?"
Of course Alexander won't get it.

"Really?"
You can almost see the stars in Klee's eyes.

"Yea, I'll show you-"

"No you won't." Albedo deglares with crossed arms, to which you only nod.

It takes a moment for Alexander to finally get the situation and with a silent "oh", he looks back at Klee.

"Sorry Klee, we can't go today."

"Why?"
You suddenly feel bad for ruining her fun, even if her idea of fun consists of blowing up things with her bombs, and you can sense Albedo thinking the same thing.

"You two can go, but me and Y/N are going with you." Albedo finally decides, and you understand his reasoning - this way, Klee can have her fun and you can make sure nothing serious will happen.
The idea of going fish blasting with you and her big brother makes her eyes sparkle even more.

"Let's go then!"

"Ugh my head." Alexander whines, throwing himself next to you on your bed.

Jean came back for Klee quite soon, but all three of you feel like it's been months.
With all of you being tired than ever before, you just drag yourselves to the bedroom, not even changing your clothes.

"Has your hearing returned yet?" Albedo asks him, laying next to Alexander on the left side.

"Mhm." Alexander murmurs in agreement, too tired to even form the words.

With so many explosions, you're actually surprised the worst thing that happened was Alexander temporary losing his hearing in one ear.

Too tired to do anything else, both you and Albedo get closer to Alexander, already feeling your consciousness slipping away.

This sure was a long day.
