Albedo | Date (fluff)

So, it's finally here.
The day you were looking for.
Your first official date with Albedo.
You couldn't believe your ears when he asked you out two days ago.
"I made a reservation in Wanmin restaurant for the two of us. Would you like to go with me?"
You remember his nervousness and giggle to yourself. It isn't your first date by a long shot, but seeing him act like a shy high schooler trying to ask out his crush made you love him even more.
Considering this was your first date outside of Dragonspine and in public, you feel slightly anxious too.
You decide to check the clock once more and try to shake the sudden nervousness off. He should be here any minute now, and knowing him, you don't need to worry about being late.
"Speak of the devil.." You say to yourself when you hear the sound of knocking echoing through the apartment.
"I see you're already prepared." Albedo states after you two greet each other, to which you simply nod, "Shall we go then?"

The walk to the restaurant was better than you imagined. You two began walking next to each other, but quickly ended up holding hands.
"There is too much people, I don't want to lose you here." Was his only explanation for such an action, but you know better than to believe it. To your dismay, the walk wasn't endless and before you knew it, you were staying before the famous restaurant.
You take a mental note to plan a walk across the whole Teyvat as the next date.
"So, this should be our table." You slightly jump at hearing your boyfriend's voice. It seems like he already talked with the waitress about the reservation, even though you haven't even noticed he went somewhere.
Right after you sit down, you're startled by another voice.
"Hello! Here is your menu. Would you like anything to drink?"
"A bottle of red wine please."
"Red wine coming right up. I'll be right back to take your next order!"
After that, the waitress disappear just as fast as she appeared.
"The waitresses are really quick here." You mumble, to which you earn a smile from your date.
"It's Wenmin restaurant after all."

As expected, the date was perfect. Even when you two decided to step out of your comfort zone and order the more exotic types of dishes.
Surprisingly, every bite was the tastiest thing you've ever eaten, and everything paired with the wine more nicely than were to be expected.

It's already dark when Albedo decides to walk you back to your apartment.
The warm summer night would have the perfect romantic atmosphere, if it weren't for the drunkards roaming the streets.
It's not so often to see such a unpleasant sight in Liyue, but even an elegant place like this has some exceptions.

Unfortunately, it doesn't take them long to notice you two.
Some of them only stare at you, some grunts "G'evening" your way, but some of them gets more... Handful than the others.

"Ignore them, we're not so far away now." Albedo whispers to your ear and you're more than happy to follow his advice.

That is, to the moment someone grabs your other hand.
"Hey girlll, d'ya want to earn some quick mora, eh? Your guy can watch if he'd lik-" In a flash, the man is laying on a ground, his nose in an unnatural shape.
Albedo punched him before he could even finish the sentence.
Before you can even react, hour saviour starts walking again.
No words had to be spoken to understand.
He won't hesitate to break a nose to anyone who even lays their hand on you.
You smile to yourself before quickly catching up to him, a slight blush dancing on your cheeks.
