'This can't be real.'
You think to yourself before burying your face into Albedo's chest once more.
You would take this as the best day of your life, if it weren't for the fact you two were slowly dying.
.  .  .
Going for a walk around Dragonspine never sounds like a bad idea - you are the Adventurer permanently stationed in this region, after all.
But, going for a walk with Albedo?
That's a dream come true.
You don't even mind that the reason for this little adventure is just to find the perfect place to paint. Every moment spent with him is completely worth it, be it your daily visits or just watching him work.
"What do you think about this place? You can actually see Monstadt from here!" You exclaim, pointing in the direction of said city.
Albedo nods and looks at you. "Yes, the sight is.. Wonderful."
His cheeks seem to get redder, but you write it off as the mountain wind making his face cold and decide to help him place the easel in the right spot.
'Something about watching him paint is so soothing,' You think to yourself, clearly ignoring the canvas and with your attention solely on the man in front of you.

Not much time has passed since you two walked here, when you suddenly feel the wind getting stronger.
"It seems the storm is approaching." Albedo states, taking his eyes off his painting, "We should get going."
"But we just came here." You whine, hoping to spend more time like this.
"Just? We've been here for around 3 hours and 25 minutes. I'm actually surprised you're not bored out of your mind by now."
Well, how could you get bored, with a sight like this?
"The storm should be here soon. We need to get back."
With that, he grabs his stuff and off you go.

"This doesn't look good." You state, visibly fighting against the strong wind.
"I'm worried we can't get back like this." Even with you being as close to Albedo as you can possibly be, you have hard time even hearing his voice, "We need to find a shelter."
Thankfully, you're able to find some cave nearby.
"Well, it isn't 5-star hotel, but it will have to do." You joke, trying to liften up the mood.
"It looks like no-one has used this cave in a long time. I can't seem to find any fireplace around here."
You quickly turn to look at him in shock.
No, this can't be real.
You start frantically looking around, hoping to find at least one piece of wood.
As the Adventurer - and a person with at least a bit of common sense - you know no fire means a big problem.
"Don't worry, we can just burn this canvas." Hearing his monotone voice not change even a little bit makes your heart hurt.
"No way. I'm not burning anything you created." You declare, but Albedo isn't one to give up.

"Is it really okay with you?" You ask again, fully knowing the answer. You sigh, putting your hand into a pocket to take out the matches.
This discussion about Burning Masterpieces took longer than you thought and you have to admit, you're already freezing.
"Huh?"
You suddenly yank your hand out of the pocket, quickly hitting every pocket your clothing has.
"You lost your matches, didn't you?"
You've never wished for him not being right more than now.
"We need to find another way to not freeze then." Suddenly, while looking anywhere but at you, he opens his arms, "Come here then."

. . .

"How do you feel?"
"Still cold.. But better." You admit, your voice muffled by his shirt.
"The storm should be over soon." Hearing his voice so close to your ear makes your heart melt.
"Y/N, I always wanted to ask you, would you like to help me with some of my experiments?"
"Why? I don't know anything about alchemy."

"You don't need to know anything about it to assist me. Just.. You being around would be enough."

You can't believe you ears.
Does this mean he enjoys seeing you around?

"Do you really-"
Before you can finish, you hear someone's voice.
"Hey guys! I think I found them!"
You are sure this counts as the time where it's socially acceptable to just kill your whole Adventurer's team.
