More Than Friends

Chapter 56

*August in MM*

Payton was rushed into ICU and treated immediately. August and everybody else waited outside in the lobby. August sat by hisself, in his thoughts. He was not trying to lose Payton over this pregnancy and that somehow was happening.

After her snapping on him last week he refused to talk to his mom. He knew he had hurt Payton feelings & because of that he kicked her out mansion and told her and his dad to stay at a hotel. He moved Chandra into his house while he paid for the mansion to be worked on and designed.

Pierre had been going to the desk every five minutes. He was nervous and he had to call out of practice causing him to  benched next game. But he didn't care, Payton was his twin and putting basketball over her would never happen.

"Pierre calm down" Amarin told him and he sigh.

"Amarin I can't calm down, my sister is back there fighting for her life" he said calmly and he spotted a doctor walking towards them.

"Excuse me doctor can you tell me what's going on with my sister" Pierre asked walking up on him before he could even get over to them.

"Family of Payton East" he said and August rushed over and so did Amarin and Mama T.

"She is doing ok, she lost a lot of blood but she is ok, the baby is fine too. He's a premature and but going to be ok as well. Only thing about that is she's in a semi-coma, medically induce because of her losing so much blood if she wake up she could die because the blood isn't moving fast enough for her to be active so she's in a coma and she probably will be out for a couple days" he told them and Pierre started crying while Amarin grabbed him.

"How many days you talking" August said trying to hold his tears.

"4 to 5 days" he said and Tasha walked in.

"Can I see my son then" he asked and the doctor sigh.

"I'm sorry sir but no, their making sure he going to be physically ok so he'll be able to be seen tomorrow" the doctor informed him and August had enough of hearing things he didn't wanna hear, he grabbed his keys leaving the hospital.

As he walked in the parking lot, he heard somebody calling after him but he didn't care to look back and see who it was. Feeling somebody pull him causing him to turn around he seen his mama.

"I'm sorry about Payton" she said and he smacked his teeth.

"You don't even give a fuck about her so how you sorry" August said causing Mama T to step back becoming offended.

"August let's not forget who's the parent here" she said and he smacked his teeth.

"And let's not forget I'm the one with the money you want" he fired back at her and she was shocked.

"You get this lil whore pregnant so she can put you on child support and now you mad at me" she asked and August was mad now.

"She's not a whore she's my future wife and the mother of my child, now for you to stand her and say something like that shows that your not a real mother, cause no mother would hate on her son girlfriend because she feels like her son girlfriend is going to take all the money from her" August said having no remorse for her.

"For the record she got her own and anything that I pay for she going half on it, don't ever talk down on somebody when you haven't looked in the mirror" he told her and her feelings were hurt.

He turned walking away from her leaving her speechless. He got in his car and started crying. He just wanted to be a happy family and be with his son.
