Chapter 32

*Layton P.O.V.*

Payton alarm went off waking her up. She reached over and turned it off and sigh. August was sleeping peacefully on top of her. Snoring loudly against her neck and holding her tight.

"Babe" she said shaking him and he didn't budge.

"August" she shook him and he started to move but didn't walk up.

"August" she shook him and he opened his eyes then closed them back.

"You ok" he asked her as he sigh deeply.

"I'm fine, can you get up tho. I have to get ready to go" she said lowly and he didn't move.

"Where you going" he asked and she sigh.

"Harlem, I got some things to do" she told him and he smacked his teeth.

"You always doing stuff without telling me" he said rolling off of her and she chuckled.

"I'll be back tomorrow August" she said sitting up and he shrugged.

"I don't want you to leave, I want you to lay here with me" he told her as he kept his eyes close.

"We can do that when I come back" she told him and he smacked his teeth.

"You be cappin' bae, you know you gone come home and find some work to do" August said and she laughed as she stood from the bed.

"I promise August" she said and he sigh going back to sleep.

Once Payton dressed she packed a belongs she would need for the one day trip in her LV bag and headed to the airport. Once she boarded her plane, she listened to August music while working on a chapter in her book.

By the time her flight ended she had finished three chapters and watched a movie. She got off her plane and headed to the nearest hotel. She got her hotel and settled down, it was 3 in the afternoon.

From August🥺🦋: EAT SOMETHING!! I seen this half-eaten sandwich in the trash. You ain't slick P. -3:21 pm.

She grabbed her a bite to eat from room service and headed out. While she walked the streets of her city she was greeted by fans and her people. The city loved her, and she loved it.

"Payton, PAYTON" she heard a beautiful voice yelling her name.

She turned and looked to see a beautiful little girl running after her with a book in her hand. She could tell the little girl had a disability by the way she ran. She walked towards the little girl and squatted down as the little girl embraced her into a hug.

"hey beautiful" she greeted the beautiful little girl as she hugged her.

"I like your book" she said holding the book up.

"I'm so glad you like it, I wrote it for people just like you" she told her, a while back Payton wrote a book for disable kids.

It was called "I have ability through my disability", it helped the disability people make them feel great about themselves. It was written to make them feel wanted, loved, strong, and beautiful even though they had a disability.

"Sydney, I told you to wait for me" Her mom walked up on Payton.

"I'm sorry mommy... look who I met" she said excitedly and Payton smiled.

"Payton...hi. She's a big fan of yours, she begged me to follow you but I told her no because I didn't want you to feel like you couldn't walk the streets without being bothered" Her mom explained to Payton.

"Its fine" Payton said standing up and the little girl was about to cry.

"I read her your book everyday because she has down syndrome and she sometimes she could be negative about it. But your book motivates her" Her mom told Payton and Payton smiled down at the little girl.
