Payton was sitting at the kitchen table with all her books on the table. She was studying for her surgery tomorrow. She had been studying since she woke up. She was determined to have a successful surgery.

She hadn't seen or talk to August ever since Monday. It was Thursday . He'd only text her from time to time for be last two days. He hadn't  hit her up all day though. She wasn't stressing it even though she missed him.

It was about 1 pm and she was still studying. She had already drunk 3 waters but she hadn't ate. She had her glasses on with her gray sweatsuit. It also was raining and she was bored.

She was distracted as she heard the door knob twist. She looked up to see August walking in with a irritated face. He was dressed in all black with his blue and black 12s and she noticed he got a haircut. He looked good.

"Payton why ya' doo' unlock like dat" his deep accent came out as he closed the door and she shrugged.

"I think I left it unlock when I took Marco out" she said unsure going back to reading her books.

"So you just feel lik' it safe to lea' ya' doo' unlock tho" he asked irritated taking off his glasses looking at her.

"August I left it unlock on accident, Geez" she said as looked up at him then going back to book.

"Don't do dat noma' den" he said walking behind the counter.

"What" she said looking over at him trying to figure out who he was talking to like that.

"Don't do dat noma' den, you heard me" he said as he opened the fridge grabbing a water.

"August who is you talking to like that" she asked and he turned around.

"We talkin' to each otha', that ain't safe da leave ya doo' open lik' dat" he said angrily and she ignored him.

"Ok cool" she said going back to reading her book.

He drunk his water and sat at the table in front of her. She was lowkey pissed he came in her house like that. It was rude and disrespectful but as always she hated arguing with him. He was being annoying for no reason.

"What you been doing today" he asked and she looked up at him then back at books ignoring him.

"Payton" he said as he sat his water bottle down.

"P" he said and she still paid attention to he book.

"Hello" he said standing up walking over beside her tapping her.

"August you really annoying me right now yo" she said as she turned the page and he smacked his teeth.

"So, I asked you a question" he said and she sigh, she didn't have time for this.

"August I don't care, get out my face yo" she said and he stepped back looking at her.

"Payton don't do dat, cause I can leave" he said and she looked up at him.

"Honestly I don't even care, have a great day" she said shrugging tucking her lip as she pointed to the door.

"So you really gone act lik' this" he asked leaning on the table looking at her.

"August please go do something better with your life then bother me right now, I'm trynna study" she said and he nodded his head.

"Alright cool" he said leaning up off the table walking away.

She continued studying as he walked around the couch and sat down. Marco came running down the stairs jumping on the couch beside August. He turned the tv on and got comfortable.
