Chapter 44

August woke up in his hotel with a huge headache. He groaned at the pounding headache he had. He felt the need to throw up and leaned over vomiting in the bucket beside him. 

"You're up I see" Payton voice came out of nowhere.

"Oh boy" he said laying his head back down on the pillow.

"Are you ok" she asked him as she walked over to him.

"No, I need some ibuprofen" he said and Payton tossed them on him.

"Here" she said with no care in the world.

"You gone give me some water" he asked and she pointed to the cup of water on the side of him.

"Thank you" he said and she turned walking back out the room area.

He took the pills and got out of bed. He felt dizzy and the nerve to throw up again. He turned and vomited in the bucket again. Once he finished he slowly walked to the bathroom.

He took a piss and brushed his teeth. He walked to the front to see Payton on her computer with her glasses on. She had her in a ponytail that hung while dressed in black attire.

"What you doing here" he asked her and she smacked her teeth.

"I'm here to take care of you since you somehow can't do it yourself" Payton said smartly as she looked over at him.

"What you got a attitude for" he asked walking over to her sitting down.

"For one you hung up in my face yesterday, two you didn't answer my calls either, three you took a perc. yesterday, and four you was about to have sex with someone and we haven't even been broken up 24 hours" Payton told him as she counted her fingers.

"Payton do you honestly wanna break up with me" he asked her and she got quiet.

"No but I want to put your happiness fir-" he cut her off mid-sentence.

"Make me happy by staying by my side Payton" he told her and she just stared at him.

"August no, I'm sorry" she said trying not to cry.

"How you wanna make me happy when you are my happiness" he asked her with a bit of disappointment in his voice.

"August I can't let my problems be the reason you can't have a the life you dream yo" she said as a tear slid down her face and she quickly wiped it.

"Payton I wanna spend every day I have left with you and only you. Ain't no way I can just be in a loyal relationship with someone else. I wanna be with you because I love you" he told her and she just listened to him.

"I know who you are, everything about you, what you like and don't like, how to make you happy, and how to please your body. Babygirl you ain't perfect but you good enough for me, I don't want nobody else but you and if you can't accept that then I won't accept that you really trying to make me happy by leaving me" he told her before getting up walking away.

"DADDY" Amari came running over to Pierre as he came in from practice.

"Hey babygirl, where's mommy" Pierre asked as he picked her up kissing her cheek.

"Her and auntie D is outside" Amari said and Pierre walked in to see the kids watching a movie.

"Hey kids" he spoke they was so into the movie they wasn't paying attention.

"Mari, y'all ate" he asked as she laid on his shoulder.

"Yes" she said and he walked out the back.

Layton, Dejah, Lauren, Paris and Amarin all day out talking and sipping on wine. Pierre walked over and all of them looked at him.

"Wassup y'all, where Payton" he asked and nobody said nothing.
