Payton was outside waiting in Shawn to come out the door. It was a quarter til seven. She looked up to see Shawn walking out the house by hisself. She cut her car off and got out.

"Morning Shawn" she said as he walked off the porch.

"Morning pay-pay... it's cold out here" he said and Payton nodded.

"Yea it is, wheres ya lunchbox" Payton asked as he met her in the driveway.

"Nobody made me lunch so I eat at school" Shawn said and Payton was confused.

"Shawn who give you money to pay for your lunch" she asked and he just stood there.

"I borrow it from my friend and tell him I'm going to pay him back when I get some money" he revealed and Payton was confused.

She was sending money down for Shawn ever week. Enough money for him not to be borrowing from someone else. She was lowkey pissed because not only do he have to borrow money from someone else, she send enough money for groceries so he doesn't even have to eat at school.

"Alright kid come on.." she said and they walked down to the bus stop chit chatting.

"Goodmorning kids" Payton greeted the kids at his bus stop, everybody spoke to her.

"Where ya friend" Payton asked him and he didn't see him.

"I don't see h- oh wait there he is" Shawn pointed at his friend who looked both ways before crossing the street.

"Morning Josh" Shawn spoke but he began to sound language.

He told Shawn he needed help putting his hearing aid in.

"Let me help you" Shawn signed back to him and he handed the aid to Shawn.

Payton watched as Shawn careful helped Josh put both of his hearing aids in. She smiled on the inside, it felt good to know she helped raised him to be kind to other no matter their situation.

"Alright I got it" Shawn said holding his thumb up to tell him he could turn them up.

"Thank you" he said now that he could hear hisself talk.

"Josh this my Godma Payton but I call her Pay-Pay" Shawn signed and spoke to him at the same time just in case didn't hear him clearly.

"Hey Payton" he said as he signed to her.

"Hey Josh, I like your kicks" Payton signed to him as she spoke.

"Your the one that taught him sign" Josh asked with excitement, he didn't know she would know it so well.

"I did" she said as she signed to him.

"He's good at it" Josh said as he and Shawn chuckled together.

"Cna you teach us" the little girl asked Payton.

"Yea" she said and there she stood teach all the kids at the bus stop how to sign hello Josh and good afternoon Josh.

That way they could know how to speak to him when they'd see him. With the assistants of Shawn they all learned it until the bus pulled up. Josh was so excited because they actually was signing it to him.

"Alright Shawn I'll see you tomorrow kid be good to me" Payton told him as she gave him a hug.

"Alright see you later pay-pay" he waved and smiled as he got on the bus.

Payton was down at the restaurant after closing hours. Everybody was gone expect her. She was waiting on Pierre to come get her to take her back to the hotel but he wasn't showing up.
