Chapter 57

Life at home as a mother & father we're going great for Payton & August. They were getting along very well and Shawn was getting back out on the court a little. Him & Payton were taking taking physical therapy together to get their legs back in better health.

August was back in the studio the days Payton stayed home with baby but mostly stayed home with the baby. He was doing great but tired but he felt every moment was worth it. Baby Adam was growing everyday & he didn't wanna miss one bit of it.

Meanwhile Pierre was struggling with hisself mentally. Even though it had been a month since Payton got home he couldn't go see her for some reason. He called her here and there to check on her but he could work hisself up to see her. He too, was starting to have very bad dreams about the attacks Payton went through from Tasha.

He felt guilt and so was Rondo. They both were having the worst dreams ever about Payton. They hardly were getting sleep. Amarin had noticed a change in both her husband and her brother. She hadn't yet noticed what it was that was causing them to act like their were acting though.

Payton, was now at home with baby Adam while August finally went back to the studio. He hadn't been there every since Payton came home. Shawn was out with Michelle spending quality time leaving Payton & Adam at home. Adam was in his crib while Payton exercised her leg.

"Payton" she heard somebody banging on the door.

"Seven... eight... nine... ten" she counted finishing her squats.

"Payton" she heard multiple bangs on the door.

"They better not wake my kid up" she said grabbing her water slowly walking to the door.

"Don't bang on my do- what y'all doing here" she asked once she seen Lauren, Dejah, Amarin, and Layton.

"We have to talk" Lauren said walking in unfolding papers.  

"Hey P.... i came to see the baby. I don't know what's going on with them" Amarin said giving her a hug. 

"I'm sweaty" Payton told her as she hugged her.

"Where's is he... I'm so excited" she said happily as Payton closed the door.

"Asleep... let me see what's going on over here" she said as Lauren & Layton began to argue.

"Yo respect my house... my kid is trying to sleep. What's going on" Payton asked becoming slowly irritated.

"Lauren set me up" Layton said sitting down in the couch. 

"And she needs you to save her ass once again" Dejah said shaking her head, the look on Payton face was completely lost.

"Dejah stay out of this ok" Lauren snapped at Dejah.

"Do y'all want some water or something" Payton asked as she drunk the rest of her water going to get another one.

"Payton listen... i kinda did some things behind your back when you was in the hospital." Lauren said and Payton smirked grabbing another bottle of water.

"Yea I know, doesn't surprises me either" she said and Lauren sigh.

"Payton this isn't the time for you to be a asshole" Lauren said rolling her eyes.

"What happened." Amarin asked Layton who sat on the couch completely upset.

"So in order to get the shop back open I had to have both of us sign off on it but you were on the hospital, I was going broke and if I didn't make it to that meeting I'd have to wait another month in order to get it open... so i  had Layton to come sign the papers as you and I didn't tell her which is completely my fault" Lauren said as Amarin sat beside her trying to talk to her but she was highly pissed
