More Than Friends

Chapter 6

*You guys I'm so sorry I haven't been updating, I lost my mom a couple weeks ago then I lost my friend 3 days later💔. I'm going through it, I took a break to get myself together. Y'all bare w/ me a sister is trying her best to hang in there*

Payton was exhausted all day yesterday. She had be unpacking her apartment all morning and night. She didn't go to sleep til 5 this morning and then had to wake up three hours later for this wedding meeting.

Walking up the driveway she knocked on the door. Amarin unlocked it from her phone and she walked in. She probably was the only one not there. She honestly didn't wanna be here but she was apart of the wedding.

"Morning y'all" she said waving at everybody not paying attention to who was there.

"Well you sure are late" Amarin said as she took a seat on the couch beside Amarin.

"Not today Amarin, I'm tired" Payton said pushing her hair back as she sat back on the couch.

"Anyways so August you the best man so you'll be walking down the aisle with... Payton" Amarin said and Payton wasn't even listening she was going to sleep.

"That's cool" his deep husky voice caused Payton eyes to open.

"Y'all serious right now" Payton said once she noticed August sitting beside Pierre.

"Payton I didn't think it would be that big of a deal" Amarin said and Payton shook her head sitting up on the couch.

"Yea alright, I'm going home I ain't with this" Payton said standing up grabbing her keys off the couch.

"Payton" Amarin said getting up following Payton as she walked out the living room.

"Payton wait, what are you doing" Amarin said as she was about to walk out the door.

"I'm about to go home and go to sleep, I'll see y'all later" Payton said as she walked out the house closing the door behind her.

"Well that went well" Amarin said as she came back in the living room and everybody looked at her.

"Look ion gotta be apart of the wedding if she don't want me to" August said as he sipped his henny.

"Nawl bro, you my best man you apart of this wedding regardless" Pierre said as Amarin took a seat on the couch.

"Payton left her phone" Amarin said as Payton phone started to ring.

"Who calling her" Pierre asked and Amarin looked at her phone.

"Rakim" Amarin said as she reed the contact name. The phone hung up and Amarin put it on the table.

"I'll take it to her later" Amarin said and they continued on with the wedding planning.

Payton went back home and went straight to sleep. It was about 5 in the afternoon and she still was asleep. She was tired and she needed to get her rest. Hearing a knock on her door she groaned.

"NOBODY HOME" she yelled rolling over pulling the cover over her.

Whoever it was continued to knock. Literally they didn't stop either. She groaned throwing the covers off her. She put a piece of gum in her mouth and slid her bedroom shoes in going to the door.
