"You okay?" Five asks knocking on Klaus's already open door.

"Hey," Klaus says. "Yeah, I just...long night."

"More than one, from the looks of it," Five says.

"Yeah,"

"I don't remember you having dog tags," I say.

"Yeah, they belonged to a friend," Klaus answers, putting on his shirt.

"How about that new tattoo?" Five asks.

"You know, I don't totally remember even getting it," Klaus giggles. "Like I said, it was a long night."

"You did it, didn't you?" Five smiles.

"What are you talking about?" Klaus asks sitting on his bed.

"You know, I can recognize the symptoms, Klaus," Five states walking closer to Klaus as I stay standing in the doorway.

"Symptoms of what?"

"The jet lag. Full body itch," I answer leaning up against the doorway. "Headache that feels like someone shoved a box of cotton into your brain. I went through it too."

"You gonna tell us about that?" Five ask.

Klaus lifts his head up to look at us. "Your pals, when they broke into the house and they couldn't find you two, they took me hostage instead,"

"Jeez Klaus...I-I'm so sorry," I say shocked.

Klaus gives me a warm smile before looking back at Five.

"And in return you stole their briefcase?" Five asks.

"Yeah. I thought there was money in it, or I could pawn it, you know, whatever...And then I open it," Klaus answers.

"And the next thing you knew, you were...where? Or should I say when," Five says.

"What difference does it make?" Klaus shrugs.

"What diff-"

"How long were you gone?" I say cutting off Five.

"Almost a year," Klaus answers.

"A year?" Five breaths in shock. "Do you know what that means?"

"Yeah, I'm older than both of you," Klaus chuckles.

"No, this isn't any sort of joke, Klaus," Five says. "Hazel and cha-cha will do whatever they can to get that briefcase. Where is it now?"

"Gone. I destroyed it. Poof," Klaus answers.

"What the hell were you things," Five says angrily.

Still leaning against the doorway I sigh rolling my eyes.

"Why do you care?" Klaus asks.

"What do I care? I needed it, you moron, so I could get back. So me and Y/N could start over,"

"Give him a break Five," I sigh, getting off the door. "Who knows what hazel and cha-cha did to him."

"Yeah give me a break," Klaus agrees walking out of his room

"Don't worry Five," I say, walking over to him, resting my hand on his shoulder. "We'll find another way without the briefcase."
