                                                                                                                         ~Present~

Rubbing my forehead I push the memory out of my head. Five and Vanya stood in the kitchen, I could see that they were arguing by how their lips were moving, but yet I couldn't hear anything.

Looking down at my arm that Five had cut earlier, I see that blood drips down my fingers and onto the floor where a small puddle layed.

"Five," I say drowsily.

Five's gaze shots to me. I pull up my sleeve as my legs fall from beneath me. Five quickly warps behind me putting his arms under mine, catching me.

"I'm so sorry Y/N," He says worried. "I forgot you-"

"You're fine," I cut him off as Vanya tended to my cut.

After Vanya's finished I pull down my sleeve as she walks into the kitchen.

"Here," Vanya says, handing me a banana. "It will help get your energy up."

"Thank you," I smile weakly, taking a small bite out of the banana she gave me.

"It's getting late," Vanya says softly. "I need to get up early for my lessons."

Me and Five both nod as Vanya smiles sweetly, walking into her bedroom.

As Five watches Vanya I sit down my banana holding my hand over the cut on my arm. Glancing at Five again I start to heal myself, not the cut but the blood that I lost. A bright light shines from my palms as my energy starts coming back.

Five sighs making me quickly pull my hand away. Considering he didn't know I could do that, or what happened with Ben. I really didn't want him to find out. At least not yet.

"You okay?" Five asks sitting down beside me.

"You need to stop asking that," I laugh.

Five chuckles looking down at the floor. My face softens. Grabbing his hand I slowly interlace our fingers as I lay my head on his shoulder.

With his other hand Five slips his hand into his pocket pulling out a piece of cloth.

"You proposing," I joke.

"No," Five laughs. "It's a lead on who causes doomsday."

Unwrapping the cloth Five pulls out some kind of fake eye.

"How do you know it's a lead?" I ask, my head still rested on Five's shoulder.

"I found it in Luther's hand," Five answers.

"Oh," I say sadly. "Good thing you found it, I couldn't even look at them,"

We sit in silence for a couple of seconds.

"I have to go," Five says getting up.

"Where?" I ask.

"To where these are made," He answers, holding up the eye.

"Well, I'm coming with you," I say getting up.

"No," Five says sternly. "You need to rest."

"I'll rest on the way there," I joke, opening the door walking out.
                                                                                                                       *time skip*

Setting outside of Mental Tech I stare out the front window, my legs criss-crossed. Five is asleep beside me as his head rests against the car window.

Sighing softly, I hold my hand out in front of me slowly making white light shine out of my palm. I stare at the light, studying it as I move my hand slowly. Glancing back and forth at Five I fight the urge to use one of my new powers on him.

Pressing my lips together I look at Five. I smile at how peaceful he looks. With my palms still glowing I move closer to Five resting my hand on his chest, as I hear his heart beat in my ears. Before all at once I begin to feel his feelings. Love, fear, worry, and doubt.

"Love?" I say confused.

"Cute,"

Jumping I pull my hand away looking to see Ben sitting in the back of the van.

"Jesus Ben you scared me," I giggle holding my hand over my heart. "Wait, what do you mean cute?"

"You and Five, definitely a cute couple," Ben answers jokingly.

"I don't like Five like that," I say.

"Oh...so you weren't blushing back at Griddy's?" Ben asks.

I snicker at his question crossing my arms over my chest, turning my back towards him as I try to hide my smile.

"You were there?"

"Of course, you think I'm gonna miss the moment you guys admit your dieing love to each other," Ben says, holding the back of his hand to his forehead dramatically.

"Haha very funny," I fake laugh.
