"When you umm...jumped forward," Tears began to fill my eyes. "Was the world gone?"
Five stands up quickly, his hand still in mine. "What kind of gone?"
"Like all the buildings on the ground, gone," I answered.
"It was," He nods sadly.
I laugh happily at the fact I wasn't gonna be in this alone as I jump off the desk pulling him into a hug, tears running down my cheeks.
"Did you see the... other's?" Five asks.
"Yeah," I say, burying my head in his shoulder, crying harder.
"It's okay," Five whispers resting his head on my shoulder. "We're gonna stop it."
Pulling away I wipe the tears from my face.
"We have to go to your dad's funeral," I say.
Five nods as me and him head outside for Reginald's funeral.
Walking outside I stand under Five's umbrella. I really didn't want to be out here, considering I wasn't really part of the family. But I knew if I went upstairs to be alone I would have another panic attack.
"Something happen?" Grace asks.
"Dad died... remember?" Allison says confused.
"Oh, yes of course," Grace says looking down sadly.
"Is Grace okay?" I ask.
"Yeah, yeah, she's fine," Diego says. "She just needs to rest. You know, recharged."
I nod, as everyone's attention falls on Pogo who is just now walking out of the house."Whenever you're ready, dear boy," Pogo says to Luther.
Luther looks at the urn for a moment, before opening it slowly dumping Reginald's ashe's. I cringe as Reginald's ashe's fall to the ground.
"Probably would have been better with some wind," Luther shrugs.
"Sorry...I got it," I say. Slowly holding my right hand out in front of me, my palm facing Reginald's ashe's. Taking a slow breath, Reginald's ashe's begin to blow away.
"Thank you Y/N," Luther nods.
Everyone goes silent.
"Does anyone wish to speak?" Pogo asks.
Everyone looks down at the ground.
"I would," I say nervously, stepping forward.
"Go ahead Y/N," Pogo says sweetly.
"Look...umm...I know that I'm not part of the family. That I just showed up on your guy's doorstep. But I just wanted to say thank you to Reginald for taking me in," I say stepping back, beside Five.
"He was a monster," Diego says out of nowhere. "I'm sorry Y/N, but the only reason he took you in was because you had power's,"
I open my mouth to say something, but Luther says something before I can.
"You should stop talking," He says.
"You know, you of all people should be on my side here, number one," Diego says in a smartass tone.
"Diego stop," I say sternly.
"After everything he did to you? He had to ship you a million miles away."
My mind wonders as I stop hearing the sounds around me. But I can still tell Diego's yelling at Luther, before Luther takes a swing towards his face.
"I don't have time for this," I hear Five beside me.
"Stop it," I say balling my fist in anger.
But Luther and Diego don't listen. Luther takes another swing towards Diego, Diego dodges making Luther's fist connect with Ben's statue. Knocking it to the ground. Looking down at the ground I cover both my ears.
"Stop it," I say again louder.
But they just keep fighting.
"Stop it!" I yell, balling my fist as I slam them down at my sides. Some kind of strong wind explodes out of me, knocking everyone to the ground.
Getting up from off the ground, everyone looks at me shocked.
"Sorry," I say turning around finding Five standing in the doorway, shocked. I glance at him for a moment but just keep walking.
Five follows behind me, but quickly turns away.
"Where are you going?" I ask.
"To get coffee. I can't find a single drop here," Five answers.
"Can I come?" I ask rubbing my elbow nervously, scared that he would say no after what he saw.
"Sure," He smiles with his hands in his pockets.
Following Five outside, he gets into one of the siblings' cars. I wanted to ask how he knew how to drive, but I just smile shrugging it off. Getting into the passenger seat putting my seatbelt on as he drives away.
