~~~She knows I'll never leave~~~
"Someone stole him."
The words rang through the now silent air between the two.
"Do you know where he is?" (Y/N) asked worriedly. Hiro rolled his eyes.
"Oh, sure, let me go check the magical implanted tracker I put inside of Baymax. I mean, that would be a smart thing to do. Even though the damn chip is on my lab table," Hiro said sarcastically. (Y/N) scowled.
"I was just asking. No need to be mean," she said.
"Well I'm kind of freaking out here!" Hiro exclaimed, throwing the hands that had been nervously running through his thick hair into the air in exasperation.
"Hiro, calm down. Take a deep breath," she cautioned. Nothing was worse than hyperventilating during a crisis. "When was the last time you saw him?" The two were now seated at (Y/N)'s small dining room table.
"I-I was working on the programming for the new version of Baymax and had them both in their stations. The original Baymax's is red and the new one's is purple," Hiro explained. "I must've fallen asleep, because the next thing I knew, I heard a crash and the purple station was missing and I was face down on my keyboard."
"Maybe if we go back, there'll be some more clues," (Y/N) suggested. Hiro nodded tiredly. "Hey, how many hours of sleep have you gotten in the last three days?" She asked as she pulled her sneakers on.
"I dunno," Hiro said, scratching the back of his neck. "Like, three?"
"That's it. You're not driving," (Y/N) said, grabbing her keys.
A little while later, the pair reached SFIT. They raced up the stairs to Hiro's lab, not wasting any time. What they saw wasn't pretty.
The whole place was trashed, papers everywhere and tools littered about. Hiro's computer screen was shattered--"My baby!" Hiro gasped--and the charging station holding Red Baymax was in the center of the room, with a sheet of paper taped to it. The writing was typed.
This is my invention, little brother. ~T
Flashback:
(Y/N) slumped in her seat. Every step forward equalled another dead end. A year had passed since she had left San Fransokyo, and still no inkling of where her parents were. Worse still, she was almost out of money, and it was dangerous to get a job around here for too long.
A colorful flyer caught her eye.
"BOT FIGHTING TOURNAMENT. FIRST PRIZE: $750,000"
(Y/N) smirked. Looks like things have come full circle again.
/People who comment on my Hiro lemon make me kind of uncomfortable because that piece makes me really self conscious and they keep saying "well then." or "please write more!"
You guys don't understand.
LEMONS ARE INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT TO WRITE.
ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE A THIRTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL WITH A MOSTLY FICTIONAL BOYFRIEND.
Anyways, mini rant over. I hope you enjoyed the chapter, and see you next time, reader-chan~!
