~~~Even though it hurts, she's my favorite pain~~~
"Did you find them?" a tall man asks from a shadow at the end of an alley, deep within the bustling city of San Fransokyo.
"Yeah. We just need to put our plan into motion," a shorter woman answers. The two exchange a knowing glance, then walk away.
It is time for action.
"(Y/N)!" a familiar voice called out as (Y/N) crossed the street to her apartment. She whipped around, startled. Who in this city would remember her, aside from the obvious?
"H-Honey Lemon?" she asked incredulously. She was answered with a suffocating hug from the taller blonde.
"I just knew you would come back! Hiro showed us all that video. I was freaking out so much! Where have you been?!" Honey Lemon babbled on. (Y/N) glanced behind her to see an Asian of small stature with still-purple streaks in her hair.
"Hey Gogo," (Y/N) greeted, walking over to her.
"'Sup, (Y/N)? Heard you were back in town," Gogo said, bumping fists with the other female. Honey Lemon was still going on in the background.
"Yeah, at least for a little while. You guys wanna come over for a bit? I really missed you both!" (Y/N) asked. Honey Lemon smiled.
"Of course! C'mon Gogo, let's go...go!" She squealed. Gogo rolled her eyes at the pun while (Y/N) was nearly doubled over laughing.
After a quick walk to (Y/N)'s apartment filled with catching up, she found the lock on her door busted open. 'Oh great,' she thought, 'just what I needed. I've only been here a day and my house has already been ransacked.'
The trio cautiously walked into the empty apartment. Oddly enough, nothing seemed out of place--not even (Y/N)'s jewelry box.
"Maybe it just...broke?" Honey Lemon suggested. (Y/N) and Gogo agreed to just forget about it for right now. Nothing extremely valuable was missing; what was the harm of having a little fun?
It wasn't until Honey Lemon and Gogo left after pizza and a gossip session that (Y/N) realized what was wrong.
The small picture of Hiro that she had held so dear, that she had placed on her bedside table, had vanished.
Flashback:
(Y/N) boarded a plane in Seattle on a route to Chicago. Eventually, her suit of armor had run out of fuel, and she had to get rid of it. Hopefully, the tech university she had dropped it off at could find a use for it.
In return for donating, she had acquired a little money, just enough for a plane ticket. It was a good thing (Y/N) easily passed for eighteen and had her ID card still on her, or she wouldn't be here.
Just as she sat down, a large woman sat in the seat beside her with a small child. Not even five minutes later, the woman was fast asleep(with her head dangerously close to (Y/N)'s shoulder) and the child was screaming loud enough to wake up everyone but it's mother.
'Its going to be one of THOSE flights, isn't it,' (Y/N) thought bitterly.
Hey look for once I'm not exhausted after a chapter! Yay!!1!
Anyways, I think Reader-chan should have a better relationship with the girls now that they're older. God bless Honey and Gogo for putting up with the guys' shit.
Anyways, thanks for reading! My YouTube channel should be uploading soon, and I've opened a Q&A book where I'll answer them in a video, so go check that out! I'm out of video ideas T-T
Until next time, Reader-chan!
