~~~But I know behind my back, they all think the same things that I do~~~
(Y/N) raced back to Hiro's apartment. She had to get there before Tadashi.
She had to.
Why didn't she think about Tadashi sooner? What had he even been doing all these years?
She ran full-speed to Hiro's door, grabbed the spare key out of the plant pot near the door, and fumbled with the lock until the door creaked open with a click.
"Hiro! Hiro, this is important!" after waiting a few seconds without a response, (Y/N) began to fear the worst.
"Hiro, answer me! Where are you?" She yelled, frantically searching for him. She found a small piece of stationary on the little workstation he kept in his home. It said:
"Meet me at the place where it began.
~T"
(Y/N) tried to calm her racing heartbeat. She knew exactly where Tadashi meant.
She walked outside, got in her car, and drove like a madwoman--or Gogo, they're pretty much the same thing--towards a particular alley she had been covering that night.
The alley where she met Hiro Hamada.
Flashback:
(Y/N) walked the dreary yet busy streets of Seattle towards the office of the SPD. She was tired of all the tricks the people she tried to negotiate with tried to pull on her. For once, she wanted to be the one getting information.
"Hi, I'm looking for the records of (mom's name) and (dad's name)?" She asked hopefully. The bored-as-hell clerk just glared at you.
"Wait a moment, I'll see what I can do," she said, getting up and walking through a small door to the back of the building.
When she was gone for more than twenty minutes with no sign of return, (Y/N) sighed and sat down. This was going to be a long wait.
HEY LOOK WHO ACTUALLY UPDATED!!
Sorry the chapter is so short. I want to end off the story soon, since there are other ideas I have and I feel like I have an obligation to the "fans" of this book first. So at the most, there will be five more chapters that I will try my best to publish in a timely fashion, but that might just not work out.
Anyways, thank you all for being so patient and loving and helpful. This story would never be the way it is without your influence. If you dislike the way the story is headed, comment! If you've got anything to say, really, just comment and I'd be happy to talk with you :3
So until next time, Reader-chan!
