The Warrior could hear the Daleks outside of his TARDIS. There were so many of them shouting that individual words were almost impossible to discern, yet he knew exactly what they were saying.

"EXTERMINATE!"

The Warrior and the other Time Lords aboard the Cruciform activated an energy link connecting all of their TARDISes together.

As soon as the Warrior saw the process was complete and the timing was just right, he gave an order to the other TARDIS captains.

"Now!"

A force field formed around the cluster of TARDISes. A brilliant white wave of energy rippled out from it, tearing through the floor, ceiling and walls. Several hundred Daleks were burst open like overpressured soda cans hit with a shotgun blast.

Immediately afterwords, more Daleks came to take their place. Just as the Warrior was readying another blast, the lights of all of the TARDISes switched off as the force field vanished.

"TEMPORAL PRISON INITIATED," said a voice from outside.
"YOU ARE POWERLESS. EXIT YOUR TIME CAPSULES WITH YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR OR YOU WILL BE EXTERMINATED."

The Warrior and the other Time Lords complied. A large blue ring of energy surrounded the TARDISes. They were standing at the bottom of a crater at least twenty feet deep and one hundred feet wide. It was filled with smoldering rubble, sparking wires, and the shattered casings of Daleks. Around the crater were hundreds if not thousands of Daleks who, unfortunately, were alive and well.

The shining bronze army parted to reveal a black Dalek.

"THE PRISONERS WILL BE DISARMED AND TAKEN FOR INTERROGATION," said the black Dalek. "THE DOCTOR WILL BE BROUGHT BEFORE THE EMPEROR."

"Not today, crockpot," the Warrior growled as he lobbed a small black object about twenty feet ahead of him. The device whirred to life, and cast a field of darkness over the Daleks.

"What was that," asked a young female TARDIS captain with long brown hair.

"Electromagnetic barrier," said the Warrior. "Makes us invisible to all standard Dalek sensors and temporarily scrambles their electronics. Now RUN," he shouted, and led the other Time Lords down a passage partially obscured by rubble.

They continued for about five minutes before coming to a computer terminal at a fork in the passageway. The Warrior tried to activate it. For a second, nothing happened. Then, there was a fizzing sound as the floor beneath them disappeared, dropping them all into darkness.
