After what happened at the hospital with Yoongi's mother, Jimin decides to resume his training with Jackson. Now that he was Mrs. Min's target, he needed to be more cautious of her every move. It was not something he could simply tell Yoongi, so the younger male lied to his husband saying that he was having dance classes at a nearby studio. Yoongi trusted his husband, making it easier for the raven-haired boy to easily move around without being caught. It's not like Yoongi would ever come searching for him.

Walking back home after a long day of fighting with Jackson, Jimin came across his two best friends who were seated on a bench on a sidewalk not far away from Seokjin bar. Feeling overly frustrated with recent happenings, Jimin decided to join his friends.

"Minnie, you're back?" questioned Jungkook upon noticing his friend. The older just nodded his head while slumping down on the bench beside the two.

"You seem tired. Were the classes hard for you to handle?" Taehyung handed him a can of cola which Jimin gladly accepted.

"Yeah, you can say it that way," Jimin responded while staring at the red, cold object in his hands. He was discussing with himself whether to tell his friends the truth or not. He didn't want to make them worry more than they already do. They had a ton of their own problems; his ones would only worsen the situation for the two boys.

"Something's bothering you, I can tell," Jungkook stated while staring at his friend. Of course, he would know. They've been through hell and heaven together.

Jimin signed before opening the can and taking a sip of the cold drink. It stung a little on his throat, as the chilly weather outside made it colder than usual. "It's Yoongi's mother."

"Her, again? Why does she give up already? Yoongi's going to die anyway. She can't have..."

"He won't die!" gritting his teeth, Jimin cut off Jungkook midsentence. "Yoongi will be fine. He won't die. Don't ever say that again."

"Jimin, don't be childish. You know he cannot survive now that cancer has evolved."

"How can you be so sure!?" Jimin fired back, almost jumping off the bench.

"Calm down you two. Please. Talk like adults." Taehyung tried to reason the two boys but they only ignored his presence.

"Jimin, after he dies, all of his problems will become yours. That bitch will come after you. Once that happens, what do you plan to do? Huh?"

"First of all, he won't die. Don't mate me repeat myself. Secondly, we will overcome it. Lastly, I don't know how, but we will. Believe in me."

" You love him too much Jimin. You shouldn't. It will hurt you more once he leaves us."

"He won't leave us, Jungkook. Stop saying that." Jimin heaved in frustration while running his fingers through his jet black hair.

"Let me now ask you, how can you be so sure?" Jungkook laughed hysterically; his nerves already reaching the ends of his patience.

"I-I... I just know it."

"No, you don't. You're only hoping for it." Taehyung added in, already hating the direction this conversation is going in.

Jimin was on verge of crying; not that he would allow himself to be seen in such a state again. He hated the fact that Jungkook's words were right, but he could not bring himself to accept them, to accept defeat.

"You should stay away from him," Jungkook suggested making Jimin look at him wide-eyed.

"What? To leave him?! Have you gone insane? I would never do that."

Both boys were now on the feet, fists clenching each other's shirts, ready to throw punches any moment. "For fucks sake, do you realize how pathetic do you sound?!"

"Pathetic?! What would you do if it were you and Taehyung?"

Jungkook clenched his teeth, unable to answer the question. Of course, he couldn't leave Taehyung, but if it were for his sake, then he would need to. Or would he?... But the problem this time was not with Tae and him, it was with Jimin and Yoongi.

"Guys, please calm down." Taehyung tried to reason the two boys, but they only ignored him.

"Tell me, Jimin. Yoongi or the rest of us?" Jungkook question, dead serious.

"Jungkook, you can't make me chose between those two. Yoongi is my husband, and the rest of the group is my family."

"Jimin, answer me!" Jungkook yelled, his frustration reaching its limits. "I've known you the longest. Ever since you were in fucking diapers. We went through hell and back together. So tell me Jimin, who is more important to you?"

"Jungkook, calm down. That's not impo-..."

"Stop it, Tae! Let him answer. Tell me, Jimin!"

"I can't choose, Jungkook. I need you both."

"You can't have both, Jimin. Answer me."

Jimin's eyes moved down to the group, the dirt on it being more interesting than anything. The young boy couldn't choose between friends and his husband. He needed both to survive.

"I don't want to answer. Let's go home. It's late." Jimin picked up his jacket and walked away.

"So it's him...", Jungkook answered making the older male stop in his tracks and turn around to look at his friend.

A sad smile formed on Jimin's lips as he stared at his friend. Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. That's what life taught him off, and this situation was telling him that nothing good will come out of it. "Why is this giving me a feeling that I will really need to choose between the two of you..."
