Chapter Twenty-Seven

I'm glad that Yoongi's smile has returned. It's so refreshing to be able to stare at it the whole day.

"Suga, want to go and take a walk around the city?" I asked the boy who was playing with Holly ever since he got it this morning.

"Sure, but we're taking Holly with us!"

"Yes, of course." I chuckled at his cuteness and affection toward that puppy. I guess this really was a good thing to bring it in.

It's almost autumn. The days have become colder and shorter. My birthday is soon as well.

"Will we be able to celebrate it together?" I thought as I watched Yoongi putting the lash on the Holly, preparing it for the walk.

"Let's go," I said, smiling while handing Yoongi his jacket. "We'll be needing these now."

He smiled at me, nodding lightly. After putting it on, we left the apartment.

The walk was quite long and silent, but it was still enjoyable. We were in the center of the town, seated in the restaurant waiting for our food to arrive while Holly played with my shoelaces. Yoongi was looking at it with a huge smile across his face.

My attention was mostly on him, but sometimes I would find myself staring in the distance through the window.

Even though it became colder, the leaves on the trees were still green. I didn't see any of it falling down either. They are just like my Yoongi. Even though the time is running out, their life is nearing it end, they still stand proud, strong and beautiful.

I wonder how much of time left do we have. Damn it Jimin. Snap out of it. He ain't going anywhere, he will be fine.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before opening them again and moving my attention back to Yoongi who was staring at me this time and not at Holly.

"Huh? Did you say anything to me?"

"Yes, the food came and you didn't even notice it. Is everything alright?"

I blushed a little in embarrassed. I gave him my best smile saying that everything was alright even tho deep down both of us knew it wasn't.

"Yeah, it's all good. I was just thinking if we should go see Taehyung. They should meet Holly while she could play with Taehyung's puppy."

"Yeah, let's go after we eat. We should call the others over as well."

"Sure thing." I took my phone out and messaged everyone. "It seems will be meeting at Jin's bar instead."

"Damn, it's been so long since last time I was there."

"Yeah... Let's finish this and go. It won't take them long to go over there."

He nodded and we started eating the food that already got cold.

The moment we entered the bad, Yoongi was strangled in a tight hug by our sunshine Hoseok. I chuckled at the sight of the two.

"Suga, how are you feel now?" the energetic boy asked.

"Im better now, stop worrying so much!" Yoongi brushed him off, but the smile didn't fade away. He was happy to see the other.

"Oh my God! Is that a puppy?!" Hoseok screamed as he took Holly up in his arms.

"Is it yours?" asked Namjoon, who appeared from behind Hoseok.

"Yup. Her name is Holly." I said, looking at Hoseok and Yoongi who were playing with it.

"Oh, it's a female. She is really adorable."  Taehyung joined in and before u even knew it, everyone was there surrounding us.

We moved to the counter and everyone sat down. This time Holly was taken away by Taehyung and Hoseok who seemed to like her a lot.

I looked over at Yoongi who was sitting next to me his cap still on head, making it hard for me to see his eyes. I moved a bit closer to him and took it off of his head. Now it's better.

"Jimin!" he pouted at me, asking for the cap to have it back.

"Suga, it's fine, you're with us. There is no need to hide everything or feel uncomfortable."

"Yeah, Jimin's right. We are all like a family." Jin spoke up from behind the counter.

"It's no wonder you don't have hair anymore Hyung. With all the dying you have done on it, I'm surprised it lasted that long. " Jungkook said and everyone started laughing at it which earned an eye roll from Yoongi.

"Still, for me, he is the most handsome and prettiest man in the World." I said earning a warm smile from him.

"I'm sorry, but that would be me. I'm the Worldwide Handsome guy. " Jin exclaimed from behind the counter while blowing one of his famous flying kisses.

We all laughed once again while Hoseok went and smacked Jin for ruining the romantic moment between Yoongi and me.

" Yaah!! Why are you hitting me?!" Jin screamed, making his "angry" face which had us all laughing even more. "Haa?! Cat got your tongue?"

Hoseok only smacked him once again.

"Yaah!! Why you did that again?!" he screamed again, but this time laughing together with us.

I looked over at everyone. It was so nice seeing them all together and smiling on top of that.

As my eyes fell on one figure at the back, I felt my expression turning serious. Our eyes locked and I could see that the same happened with him. I signaled him to that we need to talk. It seemed that he understood what I meant as he stood up, ready to leave the table. I followed after him.

"Where are you two going?" asked Namjoon, who seemed to notice what we were up to.

"We'll be back Hyung. It won't take long." said Jungkook and we moved away from the table to someplace more peaceful.

"How are you?" I was the first one to break the silence.

"Im good.. I guess."

"Did you say anything to them, to your mom and dad?"

He shook his head. "No. I'm not even talking to them. Jim.. I'm starting to fell more and more depressed each day because of that."

"Jungkook..." I places my hands on his shoulders, locking our eyes. "I know that it is hard, but believe me, its not that worth for you to be stressing over it that much."

I broke our eyes contact to look over at Taehyung, who was still playing with Holly. Jungkook did the same, following my gaze. "He loves you more than anyone in this World. You need to think of him as well."

"I know, but... It became hard for me to sleep at night knowing that just in the room next to mine, there are two drug addicts sleeping. I can't eat at my own house from fear that they may had put something in my food. That fear is slowly starting to turn into paranoia. I'm starting to feel in danger even when I'm outside that I don't eat even in restaurants anymore. Its just so hard to bear all of this... "

I sighed painfully. "My Jungkookie.." I stroke his hair with my hand. "Did you tell him about that?" he only shook his head at that, showing me that he didn't tell anything about this to Taehyung. Poor boy must know that something is wrong, but can't bring himself to ask Jungkook. "You really should tell him. He knows you the best Kookie and can see when something isn't right with you. Don't break him together with yourself when you can overcome it with his help."

"But I don't want him to worry." he looked at me with tearful eyes.

"I know Kookie, I know. But you already are and even more, than you can imagine. As I already told you, he can feel it Jungkook. So please talk with him. Only he can help you."

"I know hyung... Let's go back now."
