Chapter Ten

My gaze swiveled over the waiting room, looking at the two men who kept pacing from one side of the room to the other, both their faces narrowed with worrisome expression. A TV played quietly in one corner, a distraction that might help keep my mind off the blonde-haired boy that was currently inside the emergency room.

Ever since arriving at the hospital, I kept asking myself how did such a beautiful moment turn into such a nightmare. Jungkook sat beside me, handing me one cup of a burnt coffee from machines. I moved my gaze to the black liquid in my hands, the warmness of it reminding me that it wasn't a dream, it wasn't a nightmare. I really am at the hospital with Yoongi being examined in the emergency room.  I lifted my head to look at my best friend who just smiled weakly at me, a smile that tells me that everything will be alright. Although I felt bad that the younger boy come here rushing with the thought that something bad happened to me, I was very grateful that he was by my side at this moment.

Namjoon was here as well. I called him considering he was one of the closest friends Yoongi had. The tall boy was leaning against the door frame to one of the janitor rooms, hands crossed on his chest, mindset on none other than his friend. The more I analyze events that occurred in the past few days, the more it seemed that everyone was hiding a part of Yoongi from me. As if only I wasn't allowed to know that secret or side of him. Hoseok's words kept crossing my mind from time to time, making me anxious that Yoongi could be suffering in silence although I was here to heal him.

The sound of the doors sliding open and shut came from the direction I saw him being taken to earlier and I had both my head and body turning towards it. My eyes fell on the blonde-haired boy who came out of the emergency room, doctor walking beside him, still talking about something in an almost inaudible tone. It didn't take me longer than 3 seconds to get up and rush to his side, both of my hands cupping his face, eyes glued to the two brown orbs.

"Are you alright?" I questioned him, my voice cracking a little bit because of crying.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry, Chim." he said softly, placing a hand over mine that was still copping his face. Noticing the other two that came up to us, Yoongi turned to them, face confused at their appearance. "What are you doing here?"

"Jimin told us that you weren't feeling well so we came to check on ya. Are you okay?" said Namjoon as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Yeah. I'm totally fine. That was just a slight headache. Joonie... we need to talk."  Yoongi said and Namjoon nodded his head before the two left to talk in private. He was doing it once again. Leaving me out of every matter that involved his private life.

"I wonder what they're talking about..." with a sigh, I confessed to the boy standing beside me as I stared in the direction where the mentioned two left.

"Who knows..." said Jungkook, shrugging his shoulders in defeat.

I monitored their every move as they spoke at the end of the hallway, blue light from neon lights above them making it easier for me to see every gesture and expression clearly. Even though I couldn't hear them, I was still able to make out some of the words. While talking, Namjoon had a very unpleasant and worried expression, hand covering his mouth as the other boy said something shocking to the older male. On the other hand, Yoongi kept placing his finger against his lips as if ushering the other boy to keep the current conversation a secret. The short and small glances he kept making while doing all of that didn't go unnoticed by me which made me even more worried if the story just mentioned was supposed to be kept a secret only from me.

"They're talking about something bad." I confessed to Jungkook once again. I could feel it in the pit of my stomach that a tremendous storm was coming.

"How can you know that?" Jungkook asked, looking at me with his serious face.

"I can feel it. I just know it." I said, eyes not leaving the other two males.

After their conversation, we left the hospital as soon as Suga signed the needed documents. I insisted on staying with him for the night, wanting to take care of the sick boy but he, unfortunately, wouldn't allow me. Knowing that I have a lot to study, he made me go home and spend my time more efficiently. That's how we ended up with him walking me home instead of the other way around.

"Tomorrow, don't come to the pub. Stay at home and rest and I'll come later by your place." I said, standing at the porch, facing the other male that was standing a few steps in front of me.

"Jiminie, I'm fine. Nothing's wrong. That was just a tiny headache. I feel perfectly fine right now."

Although he kept reassuring me, something tells me that there is more to it but he keeps hiding it. "Okay, but still..."

"What do you say about the idea that you come over a few days and take care of me?" he finally suggests, looking at me with a wide smile on his face. The suggestion got me by surprise. Not that I was complaining. I would gladly accept it.

"You know, that's not a bad idea." I commented, loving the fact that I will be able to spend more time with Yoongi.

"That means after work you come to my place?"

"If my parents let me stay over then yes."

"Oh, yeah. Your parents..." he mumbled, a heavy sigh leaving his lips.

"Yeah..." I looked down, feeling how the whole atmosphere changed just at the mention of my family. "Well, see ya tomorrow." I said, a bit uneasy that I have to separate from him, head lifting again to look at his hazel brown eyes. He was staring back at me. I took a step backward even though I wanted to kiss him. He checked cutely at me, his eyes disappearing as he took a step towards me, face not far away from mine.

"I know you want to kiss me." he said, his hot breath tickling my nose before it disappears with him moving back a little, arms opened wide. My face was lightened up with a smile as I ran up to him and connected our lips in a long kiss.

"See you, Chim Chim."

"See ya, Suga."

We broke our embrace, both of us going separate ways but not before I watched him leave all the way down the street until his figure was no longer visible. Just as I turned around to walk inside the house, the curtain on the window moved, a shadow behind it implying that someone was watching us the whole time.

Oh, no...
