Wavy lines rose from the scortched drab cement that lay out countless miles ahead, a ribbon stretched out along the cracked earth, held in place by the weight of the metal behemoths that slowly trudged along it.

Varied colored cocoons filled with people whose frustration with the pace simmered like the air outside, kept in check by the frosty breeze flowing from the vents.

Just as many were inside, anthill of people rushed through the busy streets, both envious of each other. Ones on the warmth provided by the fortress on four wheels, the others on the freedom of moving without waiting in the endless lines.

Jimin stared at the commotion beneath him, leaning his body on the fence of the balcony. The boy was yet not ready to fully face his husband after their small argument which occurred not long ago.

Luckily for him, Yoongi wasn't in his room and the raven haired had some time to process everything in his head. His husband has left to see Suran off and sign the last of paperwork which Jimin couldn't do alone before their departure.

Screeching of the wood against the tiles brought Jimin back to reality, signaling him that his husband is back in the room. Footsteps kept growing louder as Yoongi moved closer to the balcony.

The raven haired boy knew his husband was just a few feet away from his, but he still decided to remain in same position, his back facing the slightly taller male.

"Jimin, are you feeling better now?" Yoongi spoke from behind him, his voice full of concern.

"I'm alright, Yoongi." Jimin signed as he stared deeper into the crowd, as if searching for someone.

"How about you get back in? It's cold," his husband insisted but Jimin wasn't feeling like moving at all. He enjoyed in the cold breeze which was fanning his bare face and neck.

Although it's already mid October and the weather was getting much colder, for some unknown reason, Jimin enjoyed in the chilliness it provided.

"Chim..." Yoongi pleaded out weakly, making Jimin's heart squeeze at the amount of pain his husbands voice was carrying.

The boy signed again before finally deciding to turn around and wall back inside the hospital room. He closed the doors behind him, pulled on the curtains before lifting his gaze to meet his husband's eyes.

"Happy birthday, Chim."

Jimin's whole body came to a stop once he noticed his husband with a wide gummy smile on his face, a huge teddy bear in his left arm and a bouquet of God knows how many white roses in right hand.

"Y-you... You remembered?" Jimin's voice cracked up, a feeling of both happiness and sadness rushing through his body.

"Of course, silly. How wouldn't I remember? It such an important day for me. October the 13th, the day when an angel descendant to an earth vowing to find an old devil and fill his sour soul with kindness and affection, vowing that he will show him it is possible to love and be loved, and that he will remain by his side forever."

"Y-Yoongi..." Jimin rushed to wrap his arms around Yoongi's now small frame as tears began to roll down his chubby cheeks. This man really knows how to give him a hard time, how to make him keep falling in love over and over again, but Jimin was thankful for all of that.

"Hey baby, don't cry. Please..." Yoongi pleaded as he wrapped his arms back around him.

Jimin didn't say anything back. He moved his arms to cup Yoongi's face before locking their lips into a deep passionate kiss. The feeling of their lips dancing against each other always made the boys feel eternal happiness.
